SOURCE: I need to know the amps specifications for the

Electrical Code changes required that the cord be the 4 wire type and the outlet also be a 4 wire type.

Up until not too long ago, it was permissible to change the cord to a 3 wire type so that it would mate with the 3 wire outlets that had been installed for years. This is no longer allowed. Today, it is the outlet needs to be changed, BUT - and this is a big BUT - your wiring is probably only a 3 conductor type. This means that the entire length of cable between the outlet and the electrical panel must be changed to satisfy the new requirements.

Anyone that tells you that you "all you have to do is change the cord" is WRONG. It not to say that some people still do that today, but it is a violation and more importantly it's a safety hazard.

This may not be a popular answer - but it is correct. Now you know - and it's up to you how you're going to proceed.

Please rate this reply & good luck!

What model Leviton GFCL should I use? My wire is a 600 volt 12/2 with ground. Said wire feeds other GFCL outlets.

Any off-the-shelf GFCI sold today with work on 12-2 wire:
By code, 12-2 wire should be connected to 20 amp circuit breaker, but typically most switches and outlets wired to that circuit are rated 15 amp. Amp rating is printed on electrical devices.

Countdown timers are made to work with bath fans.
Leviton countdown timers are stout product with 1HP rating.

It sounds like timer is bad.
Wiring sounds good. Make sure you don't have Load and Line wires reversed. Try reversing Load-Line wires and see what happens.
Another thing that affects electronic timers is line noise/interference. If replacement timer does same thing, then noise is suspect. Try timer on another circuit without fan. Try another brand timer. Update to newer LTB60 Leviton timer. Use cheap circuit tester from home center to check outlet on same circuit.

If this is for a 50 amp 250 volt outlet, you should have 1 green screw and two brass screws. The ground/bare wire goes on the green, and the white and black go on the other two. does not matter which one is where

The best solution is probably to change the 3-wire receptacle to a 4-wire unit. The 4-wire unit has a ground connection whereas the 3-wire unit has a tie to neutral, but no direct connection to ground. Hope this helps!

Ok - you have to figure out which two wires are supplying the power. Then which wires go to the outlet. Then the last wires should go to the light. Connect all the white wires together. then the black from the power cable goes to the black of the outlet. Add a short wire to the black group and put it to one side of the switch. put the black wire from the light cable to the other side of the switch.

Installing a Leviton 5225 switch with outlet.

A switch is wired using the hot wires only, the black wire. It is simply a break in the line so that when the switch is off no power flows and when the switch is on the power does flow.

You are correct that the middle outlet would have two black wires and two white wires.

If you want to tap into that middle outlet and run power up the wall I suggest you look into some wiremold products. Go to their website, or any home depot and check it out. Get back if you think I can help you further. I am an electrician.

Bay Model # 526-012 Fans what size speed control

I can't see any reason why a Leviton fan speed control couldn't be used on any ceiling fan, after all, I don't even think Leviton makes ceiling fans. Second, you may be able to try using the 1.5 amp fan speed control and see if you can get by. The worst that could happen is the speed control wouldn't work or would only work for a short time and be junk.
