Did you mean that the pilot light is not on? If so the switch is faulty or the relay to the coils is faulty or the contacts are burned out.

Rheem NatGas hot water heater model 41V50, basement flooded pilot went our how do I relight?

At the controls there should be a knob that says " Pilot"... "ON" Turn the knob to pilot and hold it down while lighting the pilot lite. Keep holding it down until it gets warm enough that when you leave it up the pilot stays on. Once the pilot lite stays on on it's own turn it to on.

After I lite pilot and release valve, after 30 seconds, pilot goes out. Can not keep pilot lite.

Failed pilot operator or thermocouple not generating enough D.C. current 30 mega volts D.C. Replace thermocouple and see if this takes care of the problem.

VN18TB PILOT LITE GOES OUT STAY LITE TILL HEATER COMES ON AFTER THE HEAT RUNS AND TURNS OFF THE PILOT LITE SHUTS OFF NATURAL GAS VANGUARD

Sounds like a weak thermocouple. With the extra heat of the main burner running it can keep the pilot solenoid open...without it it fails shut. Try replacing the thermocouple. (small rod the pilot flame burns against with a skinny copper tube going to gas valve).

The oilot lite keep going out

Check to see if the pilot lite is going past the pin- (flame sensor) if not then your flame is too low , Clean the pilot oriffice or use air and blow out the system for dust.

My pilot keeps going out on the furnace. We lite

Check the pilot light size. Is it small and not surrounding the top 1/3 of the thermocouple? If it isn't then the pilot orfice is restricted or the pilot tube compression nut could be loose. The pilot gas adjustment screw may also need adjusting if this gas valve has one. These problems should only be addressed by an experienced service tech.
