If you have the model with the digital display, see if there is an error message. if there is a "maintenance" message, hold the middlebutton under the display for a few seconds to enter the menu. you can scroll through until you get to "pm" and select "done". after that, check the defrost timer. you can set the off time and on times. you should keep it on defrost at night to keep it mixed in its liquid state.

Won't Chill or freeze. The thermostate was replaced.

Did you change the thermostat or the thermistor? Thermistor is probably your problem.

CHILL ZONE IN DODGE CALIBER NOT WORKING

There is a small plastic cover on the roof of the "chill zone"....if you pull it towards yourself it allows a small amount of a/c to flow into that small compartment inside the glove box......keeping it "chill"......as long as the a/c is on.....oh, and the vent is open :) It's cool.....I've had my 07 caliber since 07 and just now found that vent myself.

I have a k-tel quick chill ice cream maker but have no recipe book. I'm interested in simple vanilla or the simple recipes thankyou!

I was reading on a Fixya post about K-tel Quick Chill from around 3 years ago. They were stating that they called K-tel and the instruction manual/recipe book was emailed right out to them. I don't know if it is still true for today. Here is the contact information for that they seemed to get good results from:

I have an AHT Salzburg chest freezer and it's stuck in "chilling" mode and not getting cold enough to freeze anything. It's a commercial freezer and says it has chilling and freezing modes but how do I get...

pull the plug and let it defrost. ck the drain for water. it maybe pluged. after 2 to 4 hrs. plug it back in and set the temp. to -10 degrees f . fill small dish or bowl with water and see how long it take to freez. if it takes longer then 4 hrs you may need freon or have a compreesor problem, or defrost timer .

Thermal coupling in wine chiller

No, I would not recommend putting water into the chill chamber since if there is a "gap" hole in this compartment, the water could get inside the unit's electronics etc.. which could at the very least short the unit and at worst electrocute you as you take the bottle out/touch the unit. That's the problem with this or any other Peltier/thermoelelectric type of chiller. They are only good for maintaining an ALREADY cold bottle's temperature, not for chilling it rapidly. There is no good or inexpensive way to get better chilling from these types of units. It's the law of themodynamics and heat transfer. Water is the best/safest/most inexpensive medium to use, not chilled air or even super cold air. Cold air or even super cold air just does not match the chilling potential of a liquid like water. The reason why 50F air is no problem, for you to be out in for hours, but 50F water you'll get hypothermia in 20-30 mins.

The best unit for chilling a warm wine bottle is the cooper cooler. Go to www.coopercooler.com. It uses ice and water and sprays the ice cold water over the bottle while spinning it to chill it quickly. This unit is great since it can also chill single serve drinks like beer/soda etc so is more versatile than the other chillers. Cheapest is about $59 which is much less than the waring at ~$100

Right Hopper not Chilling

There could be one of 3 things:

1- The temp sensor on the back of the machine is not working.
2- The auger may be damaged.
3- The pins on the shaft could be covered with product.
