OK, water damage is not good at all. The most probable fault will be that the main bord is blown after the water cam in contact with the powered circuit.
You can try to take out the battery and memory card. Place the phone in a sealed container filled with about 2 cups of rice. Leave the phone in the sealed container for about 48 hours.
If this does not work, you will need to get the phone replaced.
