Question about JVC KD-PDR31 CD-Receiver -I-Pod Connection- CD Player

Open Question

My JVC KD-PDR31 CD/Ipod player has a constant display of 000ZA since January 2010, I have tried everything I can think of to get rid of this with no success. It is installed in a 1999 Focus, has worked previously and in my earlier car.

I believe You have to have the right auxillary connection to plug it in -- looks like in the lower right hand corner if you are looking directly at the unit.

May be a wrong model. JVC started this feature in 2009. Your model is older than that.

The Touch will not work with the KDPDR30. I spoke with JVC and their models that will operate the Touch are KDPDR40, KDAPD49, KDPDR45, KDPDR41 and KDG47 the last two have a cable required.
