Question about Computers & Internet
It is normal for computer monitors to run hot and smell out
of the vent holes. The question is how much and how bad.
Under-sized power resistors on the circuit board often smell
like burned toast, this is normal. If the smell is very irritating
and "aromatic" like burned varnish, however, causing your nose
or eyes to burn, than the cause is probably due to an overheated
transformer and failure will occur eventually (soon)
(Transformers are made of a spool of wire, insulated with
Varnish. When overloaded or shorted inside, they stink)
If you see smoke, stop using it. Otherwise you have nothing

eye on it to make sure it does not cause a fire. Always plug
your monitors into a power bar with its own fuse or breaker.
Finally if the monitor does to catch on fire, the more the
merrier, since most dealers and manufactures are much
more likely to give you a new one, when you rave and rant
about a lawsuit for almost burning your house down.
The best time to get warranty is during a sale on Saturday
More realistically, if the monitor does catch on fire, shut off
the power bar, real fast. Then unplug it and throw it in the
