First thing you need to do is to remove the return lines off of the injector that you need removed, you may need to remove the lines off the injectors ahead and behind as well just to get the one your after to move enough to remove it.Then just remove the anchor bolt and easily pry out the injector.

How to remove and clean injectors in suzuki boulevard. 2006

Hi, Nery fuel injectors fail either electronically due to faulty connection/internal electronic failure or mechanical malfunction pintle stuck due to dirt, grime, and or ethanol sludge. Since some injectors can run $100 or so it's best to try and resolve the electrical or mechanical issue if possible. The first thing you need to do is check the fuses or the fuel injection system relay for continuity then the injector connection with a test light by turning the ignition switch off and on if there is no continuity backtrack to the ignition switch until you find the bad connection, if ok remove the injector and check it with jumper leads off your battery for function by touching then removing one of the leads if the injector is functioning properly you will hear and feel the click. If there is no click the pintle could be stuck in the open position due to contamination. If you are on a budget I "HIGHLY" recommend the services of InjectorRx above any DIY method, they can repair your injector to optimum performance for only $18 and if it is not repairable there is no charge. There are DIY methods on youtube but there is no guarantee they will work or last any amount of time. Here is what Injector Rx can do for you:
1. The injectors are checked for resistance. If they fail the ohm test they will notify you that your injectors has failed and should be replaced.
2. The injectors are then checked for external cracks and or damage.
3. The injector is now externally cleaned and prepared for the flow test bench.
4. The Fuel injectors are flow tested and the results are recorded.
5. O-rings and filter baskets are removed if possible.
6. The fuel injectors are now placed in an ultrasonic cleaning bath where they are pulsed open and closed for 30 - 40 minutes.
7. The injectors are removed from the ultrasonic cleaning bath and then back flushed to remove any additional grime or dirt.
8. New O-rings and filter baskets are installed (if and when available).
9. The fuel injectors are now tested for spray pattern and atomization.
10. The injectors are once again flow tested, The results are recorded and compared to see if the injector flows properly.
11. If the injectors fail a second cleaning session will be attempted.
12. Once cleanings are finalized the fuel injectors are lubricated and placed in a sealed bag.
13. A flow sheet is prepared and shipped with the injector.
Since they do not sell fuel injectors you can be assured that they will do everything possible to get your motorcycles fuel injector to perform as they should. If they don't succeed they will not charge you for their time.
If you prefer the DIY method then I recommend the jumper wires to open the injector and carburetor cleaner with the straw nozzle inserted in the pressurized end give it a good douch with 3-4 healthy squirts, then blow dry with compressed air, repeat this procedure as necessary depending on the severity of contamination. For future protection, I would recommend pouring in a bottle of STP or Chevron with Techron Fuel System Cleaner in your fuel tank and every 4,000 miles thereafter.

How do i remove a clogged up nozzle

I hope you meant to say Fuel injector. Removing an injector from a gasoline vehicle is much easier. Please check the video I shared .... it is,however, much more complex and difficult in diesel vehicle and needs a special tool for that.

Injectors aren't working

Cleaning injectors is a process best left to a professional with a bench setup to properly flow and clean them. In a pinch for a low cost short term fix you can do the following:

1. Remove the + battery terminal.
2. Remove the fuel rail retaining bolts and the injectors will pull out of their seat in the head.
3. Remove the injector plug and simply pull them out. Look into the input side and you should be able to see if it is relatively clean. Sometimes they are completely clogged on older vehicles.
4. Use Seafoam injector cleaner and spray into the input while pulsing the nozzle in and out until it is clear. Also spray some into the nozzle end.
5. Repeat for all injectors, let them sit for an hour to 24 hours, then repeat the cleaning with the injector cleaner to force out any residual.
6. You can also energize the relay with 12V and spray through the nozzle, but this is difficult without having a pressurized system.
7. Reinstall (preferably with new O-rings) and enjoy.

I did this recently on my son's 1999 Mitsubishi Mirage due to 2 cylinders not firing at all and it runs like a champ. Cost me $10.99 from Autozone. You should also replace the fuel filter at this time.

Whats the cost on fixing a clogged number three fuel injector on a 97 eclipse?

Hi,
I think if that injector nozzle is blocked, you have to replace that injector nozzle. Most cars today uses electromagnetic type of nozzle.
Your mechanic could replace that nozzle.

2000 S10 with 4.3 V6 has P0305 trouble code, replaced Cap, rotor, plugs, wires, still missing and running sluggish and hesitating. could Cat. Converter be bad? occassional rotten egg smell and lots of...

P0305 is the generic DTC (Data Trouble Code) for cylinder #5 mis-fire detected, and you have already eliminated the ignition tune-up parts as the problem, the next procedure should be a compression check, at least on the #5 cylinder to rule out the possibility of a mechanical mis-fire. If the compression is good then check the pick-up coil located inside of the distributor for any damage, and there is a possibility that a fuel injector is faulty or has a broken fuel line, and if the upper intake manifold is removed, and the large wire connector and fuel lines replaced back on the fuel injector assembly, then cycling the ignition key off and on several times will show if there is a fuel leak on any of the fuel injector lines, and removing the fuel injector nozzles from the lower intake manifold and then cranking the engine over (have the ignition coil connected but be certain to have the ignition coil high tension wire to the distributor cap grounded) will show if any fuel injectors are not firing or have a plugged up nozzle. The original fuel injector assembly in that vehicle has the actual fuel injector inside of the injector assembly block and the fuel travels through a small plastic tube out to a fuel nozzle attached out on the lower intake manifold for each cylinder, and a replacement fuel injection assembly is made a lot better and will have the fuel injector mounted out from the injector assembly block on the end of a larger heavier plastic tube with covered wires running back along the fuel tube to the injector block. Do you remember what the #5 spark plug looked like when you removed and replaced it and did any of the spark plugs have a black sooty carbon fouling? The #5 cylinder is located at the rear spark plug on the driver side and here is a firing order diagram to assist you. The catalytic converter would not be the suspect and moisture or clear liquid dripping from the tail-pipe is an indication that the catalytic converter is functioning properly, unless coolant or liquid is running out of the tail-pipe, then there might be a faulty intake manifold or cylinder head gasket, and a rotten egg smell is usually caused by poor fuel if the smell is coming from the exhaust, or an over-charging battery condition, (voltage at the battery should be between 14 an 16 volts when the engine is running) and let me know if you require the procedure to remove the upper intake plenum, or if you require any further assistance.

All four injectors stopped working

Try the carb cleaner fluid by mixing it with the fuel or spray it at the intake. After cranking the engine a few times, wait for a while and if the engine refuses to start, get some young men to try & start it by rolling the vehicle & turn on the ignition(i.e. if it has has manual gear shifting) till the carb cleaner has got a chance of forced into the injector to clean the nozzles. If this fails then it(injectors) cleaned by maul removal & cleaning/replacing the injector nozzle tips by a qualified mechanic....sodeep
