If this hasn't been resolved, I do have some steps that will help you out. The link below will walk you through a power scan, which will program the remote to the tv. At that point, you will be able to change the channels on the tv with the remote.
cable or Ant.. ? after the scan if there is no channels found (0 digital, 0 analog) then try with cable or Ant to see if any of them work.. if they still don't pick up any channels and the whole yellow progress line goes across.. then it sounds like the tuner on the tv is bad.. and the tuner is part of the main-board so the whole main-board will have to be exchange or repair.. contact Amergence technology they are a 3rd party repair center that service Olevia TV's and they will be able to give you an idea on the repair cost..
<<< Amergence Technology number is 866-965-3842 >>
With remote, hit MENU, (use up/down arrows) & scroll to SETUP. Hit ENTER & scroll to TV. Hit ENTER & scroll to AUTO CHANNEL SEARCH. Hit ENTER & scroll to CABLE. Hit ENTER & scroll to AUTO. Hit ENTER, wait as it scans (about 5 min). Your done.
be sure to check:
The tv is on the appropriate AV Channel ( the same one you plugged the ps3 cable into )
The cables are connected properly.
Or Your channel input settings might be wrong on your tele ,, so maybe, AV 2 is set to actually take signal from the AV 3 input...
Maybe wrong but just check these things cause sometimes its something stupid and you'll kick youself later ha ..Good luck
Bill, did your tuner go out? I have had the same television for one year. We had a storm and our Buckeye cable went out. All the other tvs came back fine except for the room with the Olevia 232-S12. Everything works now except for the tuner. Cable came in and installed a converter box. Just wondered if you had the same problem (not the storm, but the tuner)
