Kenmore Trio water leak on front left side

This is odd, but I'm getting a slow drip about 6" form the left side of my fridge, and about 8" front the front. I used a small mirror and light to look underneath to find the spot. When I turned off the water at the wall, the leak stops. The leak also does not happen all the time, but intermittently. I heard of one person who had a similar problem when the ice maker was turned off (my is as well). I finds no water in the freezer or fridge compartment of on the seals to them. I can;t believe the water is coming from the condensor coils because I can see dust on them, and they look dry. The only clue I have is that there is a small 1"x1" opening on a metal plate under the area of the coil where I have the leak. The leak goes through that opening, so maybe it is htting the metal plate elsewhere and then running to this spot before spilling over.

We have the same problem for the second time in 2.5 years.

Six months (Dec 2005) after we bought the refrigerator, water was leaking from the door. Sears repair arrived and informed us it was the water tank leaking. Said it wa a known problem and was replaced at no charge (of course, we were also still under warranty - six (6) months out) --- FAST FORWARD 30 MONTHS (May 2008) --- SAME SYMPTOMS SAME DIAGNOSIS only NOW Sears wants to charge me $155 to fix the problem.

I'm gonna be calling and complaining about that!!!!!

Open your left door and look at the flat face under the bottom shelf (you'll see representative water drops). The water tank is behind this panel.

My Kenmore Elite Trio Fridge is leaking water from under the front of the machine. It is not the water connection. Do you know what the problem might be?

Your defrost drain tube is probably clogged with ice or something. Defrost your refrigerator (put towels around to soak up any excess water), then after it's defrosted, take off the back, lower panel and look for a 1 inch diameter tube coming down from your refrigerator. Remove it and clear out any blockages and then re-assemble everything.

Good luck!

Leaking under neath front of refrigerator

Usually any defrost water sits in a plastic pan and evaporates away in normal operation. If the pan becomes brittle it cracks and leaks water. Pull the fridge out and look on top of the black pot (compressor) Is there a plastic drain pan sat on top of it?
Sometimes if the fridge is working hard a lump of ice can form on the pipework going back to the compressor which melts causing some water at the front of the fridge.
Lastly, the insulation under the fridge may have broken down, allowing condensation to form and drip. If the drain was blocked, the water would be inside the fridge, not underneath.

Ice maker stopped making ice and now is leaking from the back of the fridge.

Here is what I think it might be: The water valve has a slow faucet like drip that forms a stalagmite in the fill tube. When the ice maker calls for water the water goes out the backside. OR it might be the line has a hole in or has come off the fill tube in back of the ice box. Solution: replace water valve and blow dry fill spout to get out ice.

Icicle are forming around icemaker port inside of

The water inlet valve on the back of the unit where the water supply comes in can have a slow leak and will cause ice to buildup and block the fill tube. Disconnect the ice maker line from the valve and watch to see if it has a slow drip. It doesn’t take much to eventually block the fill tube.

Ice/water forming under fridge hydrator.

The tray slides out, take it out and dump it, clean it and replace it every year. This is where the coils drip to when the humidity is high or it is working hard to keep cool, like if you just had a party and everyone was in the fridge.

Ed25rfxfw01 whirlpool fridge water dispenser ...I have a slow drip from the dispenser hose. I assume I need a new water inlet valve. How do I access the inlet valve for replacing?

It should be on the right hand side in the back take off the compressor cover on the back should be 8 or so 1/4 screws nutdriver type and then two more hold on the water valve. If you have a RO system hooked up to refrig you may need to change the filters on the ro or just change the filter on the refrig. those two will also cause the water to drip thru the valve allowing it to drip on the front

Kenmore upright fridge--freezer door drips when cleaning

Condensation has formed and frozen behing the door panel. You can live with it, or take apart the panel and dry it out - you may have to replace some insulation. Hope this helps!

No water or ice from older kenmore side by side

You must pull fridge out the water valve is in the bottom back. Sounds like the valve is stuck open. You can Google your model# to find appliance parts to order new valve.
