1.Connect your camera to ooVoo. If your
device uses a camera that is attached via
a USB cord, you will need to connect it before
opening ooVoo.
2.Open ooVoo. Once you've downloaded
the app, you'll need to open it. If you're
using a phone or tablet, just navigate to your
home screen and click on the ooVoo icon. If
you're using a computer, you will find it in
whatever location you chose to download it
to (most likely your "Downloads" folder or
your desktop).
3.Accept the terms and conditions.
4Sign up or log in.
5.Search for your friends.
6.Check who's online. To see which of your
friends are online, look at the list on the
left side of your screen. The friends that have
a green circle beside their name are online.
7.Call one of your friends. Double click a
name, or click the video camera next to
it, to start a video chat with that person.
8.Add more friends to the conversation.
Click "Add to Call>Contacts." Scroll down
the list until you find the person you want to
add, and click "Add Friend." Again, they can
answer, reject, or start a text chat. You can
add up to 12 friends.
Try installing Real Player (free) at downloads.com. When video content is played it will prompt you if you want to download (save the video). Note, some videos are "protected" against downloading. There are other software programs at download.com and on Firefox add-ons which might also help. Real Player will inform you upon starting to download if the video is not down-loadable.

Actually, ultimatum, this particular model does play both music and video files, though the latter must be in AMV format. The mp3 player should have come with a CD containing the conversion software you will need. If not, try googling 'WMV (or whatever filetype your videos are) to AMV converter'.
I do not think it is possible to transfer videos directly from YouTube to your player, but there is software out there that will let you "record" videos online and save them to your computer. These files can, in turn, be converted and transferred to the device via the included software.
