Carrier green speed unit display in the ui. code#179 look around tst wires and nothing look broke o peel.i reset all,15s later i have the same code. only i can think is the unit have a bad inverted.

The inverter boards are hard to troubleshoot without tech support. Carrier has a tech support 1-800 # but they prefer to speak to technicians and even then its hard for them to repair it over the phone. If you have maintenanced the unit (cleaned) and reset all the codes, call a tech! Or give us some model/serial #'s. 15secs and then a trouble code means there's definitely a fault but very hard to address.

Furnace quits with 4 blinking lights on panel

Most likely it's a sensor triggering the unit off. You need to have someone determine which lights are blinking (there is a code to them) and then find out what the code refers to. Could be a simple as dirty filters.

IE on screen what does that mean?

The codes these displays usually show that are hard to trouble shoot are:
88888 - This means the unit has suffered from dirty power or power surges and should be unplugged and plugged back in about 60 seconds later. This should reset the unit.
OF- Means the unit is in a Cooling OFF Mode, This is a power saving feature used by Retail locations. Some call it a DEMO mode.
PC-ER - unfortunately means your unit needs service.
IE - is a tough one, I would like to see it first hand but if everything is working correctly might possibly be a display error and it should be saying ICE - I have not come across this one in person.

My bauhn TV screen stopped working. DVD plays sound but no picture. Can the TV be reset or rebooted

You can try unplugging the units--no picture often means the DVD has a dirty or failed optical unit.

Error code F1 displayed on unit

We had the exact problem with our unit at work. What we did was turned the unit off at the panel and grounded L1A (or B depending on which fan is displaying the error code) at the condenser and then verified that L1 was grounded at the air handler. In our case it was not, so we rolled L1A and L2S at the condenser. This fixed the error code on our units. Evidently the units need the same sequencing on the fans that the condenser has.

I have a whirlpool front loader washing machine and it recently stopped working. the model # is WFW9200SQ00. when it's suppose to go into spin mode it stops everything and 5 mins later it flashes f11. what...

"F11" is a Serial Communications error code. The following link explains:

Read through the steps provided carefully. I would begin by unplugging the washer for at LEAST 30 minutes in an attempt to reset the Central Control Unit (CCU). This is the main computer for the washer and sometimes these error codes can be erroneous. If the error code reappears following a CCU reset, then you have a legitimate problem.

Next, double check all the connections to the the CCU and Motor Control Unit (MCU). The CCU can be accessed by removing the top panel of the washer. Simply remove the three screws that hold the panel in place in the rear of the washer. With the screws removed, the top panel slides back, then off. The CCU will be located top center, directly behind the wash tub. The MCU is located at the bottom of the washer in the rear adjacent to the drive motor along the cabinet interior wall. You will need to remove the back panel to access. Follow each wire connector from the MCU to the CCU and make sure they are not loose or corroded. Unplug each plug one at a time and reseat as necessary.

If all these preliminary steps do not help, you more than likely have a failed CCU and it will have to be replaced.

I hope you find this information helpful. Let me know if you have any questions.

My thermador oven tells me error code 14

Sometimes you can unplug the unit for at least 30 minutes and reset the unit and it wont do it again.Try that first. An error code on a thermador of 14 means latch switch problems.
