Question about Haier Washing Machines

1 Answer

I have a RWT350AW washer we bought a year ago. It started making some noise recently (like coins or marbles were in the washer) and now the rinse cycle stopped working. When you set to rinse, it humms but dies not spin? Am I in trouble?

If it is still washing then your not in real trouble in most cases the problem is to do with your water pump have hubby take the hoses of and see if any tubes are blocked if not see id=f the water pump is turning if not replace it then you should be right as water pumps often fail within months as to poor line production in some cases

Front load washer sounds like a marble is loose

You washed something from your pockets. coins, marbles, I even removed a nail clipper before. Use a flashlight and try to look through the holes. If you can get front panel off. Put light under tub and see if you can see something that way.

Washer sounds like marbles are in it when it spinns

look for an underwire bra wire it will be sticking in the drum
if you cant find it through the drum you may be able to reach whatever is causing the noise through the heater element opening in the tub

Load winding noise on rinse cycle

Mine did the same thing and I found out from the sevice guy holding a handful of change that coins can escape into the machine - which is ridiculous!!! My guy didn't get all the coins out and created a leak which he said could happen when a load throws water over the top. Uh what??? I am on the phone right now, 5 months later, trying to get someone other than A & E to come fix. And the dryer isn't the best either! Good luck and hopefully you have the extended warranty!

Sounds like there is a marble or coin in drum

remove the heater which is held by 1 19mm nut in the centre and prize out carefully with a screwdriver. you can then see the gap between the drum and the tub and fish out whatever is in there. a common problem

My washer was in the process of draining after it had rinsed and the washer starting making a horrible grinding noise. What do you think the problem is?

Most likely a bad pump. Or something drained into the pump and was grinding in it. This is common, coins, sock etc..
