You can buy a bolt on contraption to the pedal. Google around for pedal extenders, cost about 100 dollars as I recall trying to get short girlfriend in touch with her clutch pedal. However would be cheaper to get an old tire, cut a piece of the tread about 2x2 inches, glue that to a piece of wood the same size, and bolt that to the clutch pedal. Put some wide washers on the bolts so they don't work their way through the tire.

Chances are your throttle cable has been over tightened. This causes binding. Try adjusting the cable(s) properly. A litle bit of WD40 in the moving parts and on the cable(s) wouldn't hurt either.

The clotch won't work after being parked but started for a while

The clutch plates can wear an indent into the metal pressure plate drive dogs and get stuck, as though the clutch was worn and not driving properly.

Does that make sense?

We have an old Waring Futura 900 blender that leaks at the bottom of the glass around the beater blades. How do you repair? Is there a gasket?

Yes their is a gasket. However try to tied the hole blade kit a litle harder since it might be loose, it might be also dirty you can loose it clean it and put it back.
Have a visual insections since the glass might be broken a litle bit also.

This could be a sign of a vacuum leak, especially while driving. Have your car checked to make sure everything is fine.
