Question about Refrigerators
My frigidaire refrigerator is leaking water inside the refrigerator part from the top of the refrigerator. i don't know if it is coming from the freezer or what. is there hoses or something that could have came off that would be causing it to leak from the freezer down into the refrigerator?
There is a plastic panel inside the frigidaire looking at the underside of the freezer inside the refrigerator compartment which holds the thermostate dial and the light fixture. remove the four 1/4 in hex head screws holding the assembly. pull the panel toward the front. you will expose the drain hose connection you can let it dangle from the plug wires or remove the panel completely, I worked with mine in place. look at the back funnel shape drain. just in front of that see a rectangular styroform collar which should be snug fit to match the underside. clean and dry all. there is a divider between the two funnel compartments, mine was separated between the plastic and the styroform. I used kitchen and bath tub caulking to seal the gap. and a little around the rectangle shape that fits to the underside. plug the wire back in if disconnected. reassemble the panel. that may fix it. good luck.

I had the same problem, water on shelves inside the refrigerator .
I took apart the back panel in the top freezer compartment.
What I found was a build up of ice in the port that feads the cool air to the refrigerator. Thaw ice of course and installed back panel. I fixed this problem with a little trial and error. Because there was ice in the port feeding the refrigerator coming from the back panel of the freezer there was a condensation problem that should not occur at this part of the refridge . If you get condensation then the melt thaw effect happens causing water to fall into the refridge. I adjusted the cold and colder temp until this effect stopped. An other thing that didn't help to this problem is the door to the freezer not closing properly do to faulty seal on door or over loaded freezer. (cause condensation)
Hope this is help full.

My frigidaire refrigerator is leaking water outside the refrigerator. From the back of this fridge there is a drain pipe which runs down to the water tray. This pipe was pointing outside of the tray which make the water running down to the floor. I put the pipe inside the tray. After, it's working fine!

the middle insulation hasbecome water logged, forma faulty defrost tube, so, every time trhe unit defrost, 2 maybe 3 times a day it will spill water inti the vents, andin to the refrig, the only correct way to fix is to have the enitre center drain block replaced, part not that expensive but labor to install may be, ohter then nussincence, not really affecting machines workings

Tips for a great answer:
Hi friend, thank you for your post!
Based off your post you are having trouble with frost on your rear wall and water dripping from the top middle section on the inside of your Frigidaire refrigerator. Sounds like you may have a possible problem with an air leak or water leak. I would suggest checking your seal to make sure there is no leak. You can do that by placing a dollar bill between the body of the freezer and door. If the bill comes out easily then the gasket may be causing frost to develop due to an air leak. I would recommend exchanging the gasket out. If the gasket is sealing properly then it could be an issue with the water line and you should perform a manual defrost that could help clear out any restrictions in your water line. To perform a manual defrost you would need to disconnect power from your refrigerator for roughly four to six hours. I hope this information is helpful. -Matt

Hello friend, I appreciate your post!
I see you are asking about a Frigidaire washer leaking but your question is labeled under refrigerators. If your washer is leaking it could be a problem within your motor, water valve, drain pump, or seal inside your washer. If you are speaking about a refrigerator it could be an issue within your water valve, water filter, or an air leak causing condensation.
I would recommend having a professional come out to the home for a proper diagnose and repair. I hope this is helpful. -Matt

Hey friend, thank you for the post!
From my understanding you have water leaking out of the freezer of your Frigidaire refrigerator and onto the floor. I would like to ask you a couple of additional questions. First, do you see where the water is coming from? Secondly, what is the model number of your appliance? You can locate your serial tag (which lists your model number) on the inside cabinet of the fresh food compartment normally on the left side in a top mount. But on a side by side it can be found on the right hand side. I look forward to hearing back from you. -Matt
