Recently crashed. reloaded with original recovery

After you restore your computer, you must also reinstall the drivers for things like your wireless receiver. This is found on the Drivers disk, also gotten with your computer. Follow directions to recover all drivers are found on the disk.

I'm looking for recovery disks for a gateway MX6450 my hard drive crashed.

The system recovery process for your computer is stored on your hard drive. As long as you are trying to reload your hard drive, not replacing it then you can access and run the recovery application without going into windows.

The access the system recovery without going in to window:
Power your computer off.
Disconnect all external devices including printers and pc-cards (external mouse and keyboard can be attached)
Power you system on and watch very carefully for a message that says 'Press F11 to start system recovery'
Press F11 as soon as you see this message.
From her you can go through the recovery process.

MX3228 ethernet controller missing, recovery disk doesn't have driver. I don't know the chip set or what NIC it is.

You didn't list your operating system. I chose the Vista drivers. If this is wrong just click on the "change criteria".

Here is the link. Hope it helps.

Missing drivers for "other devices"

Go to Control Panel - System - Device Manager and right-click on each of the hardware components where you need drivers. There will be a description of each item, so then you can download the drivers. Good luck

From a computer that has internet access, download the appropriate ethernet driver for your network card from the link above. As for the recovery disk, you'll have to contact Gateway for a replacement disk.
