Single din dvd play jammed

well, you would need to look inside the device. Easy is to try to lube the guide rails with a dry lube. Liquid wrench make a dry lube, make sure its for electronic use. If that does not work then you must check the motor inside the until to see if its catching or slipping.
Some times it could be a return point issue. IT check this return the screen to the position of rest, (ie how it was when you bought it) Disconnect power to the unit.(disconnect one battery terminal is the eaiest way, or you can disconnect the wires) Wait about 5 mins, it needs to discharge. Hook it back up and try it out. If still a no go then try lube, then open it up, and look at the drive motor for the guide rails, are the teeth missing off the cogs, or is the shaft spinning without gripping. If it uses belts for this check them. If you get that far get some greese for electronics or some WD40 on a Q tip and try lubing it.
ALso might be losing power when moving, look at the connected wires while opened up.
good luck

Whe i turn key the ignition lights come on but when i turn it again to start it the engin dose not turn over you get no sound from under the bonnet

It sounds like your battery is dead. The lights don't take much power to come on, but as soon as you turn the key to start the engine the starter doesn't have enough power to turn over. Take your battery to a Autozone or similar and have the battery load tested and tested for bad cells. You can also check the voltage level of the battery although this isn't a clear indicator of a bad battery unless it is below 12 volts. If it shows around 12 volts, have the battery tested. If the battery checks out, have your starter tested.

Need video jack

I interfaced the SAVV LM-S6001 today. Here's what I found;

Looking straight on at the male 8 pin DIN connector here's how I'll describe it. There are 3 pins across the top row. From left to right I'll call them 8, 7, 6. There are 2 pins on the left side of the middle row, 5 leftmost and 4 adjacent to the center. Moving right, there is a gap and then pin 3 on the rightmost side of the middle row. There are two pins on the bottom row, pin 2 on left and pin 1 on right. Draw that on some paper.

8 7 6
o o o
5 o o o 3
o o
2 1

Pin 1 is +12VDC
Pin 2 is center contact of both audio and video RCA jacks
Pin 3 is -12VDC
Pin 4 is outer RCA contact for Video
Pin 5 -n/c
Pin 6 -n/c
Pin 7 -n/c
Pin 8 is outer RCA contact for Audio

Now, I don't know what pin 7 does, but it is wired next to pin 4 suggesting a video application, Svideo is my best guess. I can only test for a composite video connection that I am using.

It's alive!

No picture

A blue screen suggests no input signal, or a signal that the electronics in the screen can't handle. I don't think you need the remote, but, it may help. I suggest you try the dvd on a working monitor and check that it's a compatible output. The LM-S6001 is a multi-system monitor both NTSC(US) and PAL(Europe/Aisa). The monitor has a composite video (usually yellow) and RCA(phono) input and DIN, the manufacturer is unclear if both plugs are present. You can assume it's auto-switching, but that may not be the case. More information is needed to fully understand your problem. 1. make/model of DVD. 2. description of external plugs on monitor.
