Question about Televison & Video

1 Answer

I have recently bought the Panasonic DMP-BD45EB-K blu-ray player and done the basic set up and found that when I turn the player on I always get the function menu up on my Hitachi HD Ready tv. Can you please tell me is there a fault with the player or have I setup the player properly.

It sounds like the player is not storing your settings which would lead me to believe the remote power input that takes in power to save memory like settings and clock is not functioning

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

Does anyone know how to unlock all regions for the Panasonic DMP-BD77?

Its DVD region can be unlocked. Blu-Ray region can't. For more details, visit this site. Site name is "electro-help" Type this site name to your search engine's search box, and search. It has all details. Purely technical site, which I've found recently; have all details and descriptions.

There are two different lasers on the drive.. Red for DVD and CD.. Blue for Blu Ray..

The Blue Laser may have failed.

Of course it always helps to check drivers and firmware updates for the drive itself. There was one firmware update 12/2010 for this player at the Panasonic USA website (support) Version 1.43

Finally Check your BD Ratings settings. There is a setting that could prevent all Blue Ray Discs from being played. It should be set to NO LIMIT which allows any rating. Page 24 of your manual.

Best of luck!

I recently bought a Panasonic DMP BD85 Blueray player. I have been trying all afternoon to connect it to my home wireless network and am about to pull my hair out. All of the network indicators say that I...

I pulled up the specifications for the bd85 Blu-ray player. It says below that it has an rj-45 network connection. That means, although it says that it is WiFi ready, that it requires an additional WiFi Adapter of some sort to operate with Wifi. Or you could connect it directly to your router or switch using rj-45 cable.
