Front loading Fridgidaire washer - one year + one week old(just out of warranty) Won't start - indicatore has "dr" code. Unplugged and switched off breaker and reset. Checked door and drain connections-any ideas?

My front loading Frigidaire GLTF530DS0 washing machine won't start. I pulled the knob out to start it, but nothing happens. The door lock light comes on, but it just sits there. It doesn't make any noise. I've had it 2 and a half years and never had a problem before. I unplugged it and plugged it back in, but still nothing happens.

You need to replace the Motor controller speed asm part number 134149220 they are about 165.00. very easy part to replace you have to remove the back panel and the control board is on the bottom left side two scews and two plugs.

OK Check elec plug at motor . Mine was doing exac same thing . Take belt access panel off back and pull wire plug off motor and push back firmly on . This plug does not have a tab so vibrates off . Good luck .

needlenose pliers grabbing the center shaft (white plastic around a brass center around a screw), turned counterclockwise will free the remainder of the broken knob and allow you to remove it and then screw on the new part.

Good Afternoon Leszek - Thank you for your question. Based on the symptoms you are describing it sounds like the unit has a faulty timer or a potential wiring failure. Try reprogramming the unit by either unplugging it or flipping the household circuit breaker to the off position. It is important to wait approximately ten minutes and then turn on the unit. If issue persists, then at this point I strongly suggest reaching out to a professional that can accurately diagnose and repair the washer.

Once the washer is loaded and the start button is pressed the lights come on and the washer starts. Now the lights come on but the door lock button clicks off and the machine won't start.

pull problem code from machine. give knob a turn to wake machine-wait 5 seconds-then hold down start and cancel buttons at the same time. Your problem code will come up.

My Frigidaire affinity washer doesn't start: the "door locked" button doesn't come on though the door is closed properly

If the washer fills with water, but will not start the wash cycle or spin, it is 1 of to things. the most common for frigidaire front load affinitys is the door lock assembly. I have had to replace numerous of these. if the door lock indicator is not on when it tries to wash, you need to replace the door lock assembly. if the door lock indicator is on, but wont wash, it is likly that you have a bad motor control board.
