    Having the same issues

Sorry..basically the red light flashes which is suppose to signal the water is heating up. The light flashes for about 2 mins. The next step is the light should go steady and the coffee begin to brew/drip into the cup. For my system, the red light flashes for two minutes, then instead of going steady it simply shuts off. No steady red light and definitely no steady drip of nice coffee.

The coffee maker progress light is suppose to blink for 2 mins to signal the water is heating up. My system does that without problem. But afterwards the light is suppose to become a steady red and the coffee being to brew. This doesn't happen to my system, instead the light simply goes out and the coffee maker appears to be off. I did notice that when i dump the water out and start the process over, the water is not hot. Anyway, hope this helps

Hi,
After heating it switches off. This is because once the water get heated up ,It activates a cut off switch which stops the heater. This is a safety feature.
Can you be specific.? shuts off in the sense.?After that you can not use at all or can use.?
Thank You

Our brand new keurig mini plus wont heat or dispense water

I had the same problem with my Mini ! I also had this problem with my last Mini which was given to me and I tossed out. So I replaced with the new one which just went on the fritz. Called Keurig who were very helpful and told me to descale, but I explained the machine is almost new. So I prodded them for what else could cause the problem and its water that is too cold.

Turns out the problem is that I was using very cold water and the machine can sense the water is cold and will not heat. It does not heat so it wont damage the heating element. I was using 40 degree water from the fridge.

My symptoms were: I would fill it, that the blue light would flash, I would push the button, then the red light would flash and then nothing it would shut off after a while. Now with not so freezing water it works fine!

Hope this helps as I threw out a good machine because the water was too cold!

Cant get my keurig b31 mini plus to use water it just sits there

It may be time to descale. Most models will give you a message when it's time to have the mineral deposits cleaned.
HERES HOW TO DO THAT...
Empty water resevoir. Disable auto off. Pour approx 48 oz of undiluted white vinegar into resevoir. PLace large mug on drip plate, run brew cycle, dump contents of mug in sink. DO NOT USE A K-CUP.
Repeat this process until the add water light is indicated.
Let brewer stand for at least 4 hours while still on.
Discard any residual vinegar in the resevoir and rinse thorughly.
AFTER approx 4 hours...fill resevoir with water.
RINSE:
PLace a large mug on the drip plate and water brew cycle. Pour the contents of the mug into the sink.
REPEAT this brew process until the add water light is indicated.
YOU MAY NEED TO REPEAT THIS "RINSE" PROCESS if you notice any residual taste.

I have a new B31 mini plus keurig brewer and I put the water/coffee in, hit the brew button, it flashes red then turns off after about 2 minutes without brewing the coffee.

MODEL B31: I made the mistake of not running water thru the machine first (the Initial cleaning) and was unable to get water to come thru to the K-cup. Reservoir was hot and full and would not come out. SOLUTION: I took a bendy-straw and completely covered the inside needle coming from the top (that goes into the K-cup) and pushed it up with a fair amount of pressure and blew hard into the straw. Then sucked on the straw (BE CAREFUL IF THE WATER IS HOT) and water and some coffee grounds came out. The brewer worked perfectly after this!!
