Question about IBM ThinkPad T30 2366 Notebook
My lcd (viore 42" edtv), the tv mode work ok but vga mode shows just a quick pip of a video then disappear. also the blue screen of all the modes ( av,s video,componemt1 & 2, vga & dvi ) became black. How to repair or which parts do i need to check?
Try lowering the PC's Screen Resolution and Screen Refresh Rate to the lowest possible (800 X 600 @ 60Hz) and work them up a step at a time to your preference. Both can be found at the Settings tab of your Display Properties. Of course, you would still need to press the Fn & F? keys of the laptop to activate external. The Fn key is one of the function keys with a monitor icon on it.
Hope this be of initial help/idea. Pls post back how things turned up or should you need additional information.
Good luck and kind regards.
Thank you for using FixYa.
