Question about Breadman TR444 Bread Maker

1 Answer

Bread sticks to pan

I have a Breadman TR441. The bread has started sticking to the pan even if I oil or butter the pan first. The bread cooks just fine even though I have to adjust for high altitude (5500 ft.) I make both wheat & white bread but I add gluten to the wheat bread. The bread used to pop out just fine but now every time it is sticking to the pan. I never use metal utencils and I have been filling the pan with water and soaking the stuck on crust to remove it. Can you help me?

brand new prima breadmaker (my previous one died) used it twice and forgot to grease the pan first time, didnt forget today but same problem... the bread wouldnt come out and after having to be more vigorous part of the crust still stuck to the bottom so I have lost part of the loaf... I use olive oil instead of butter in the mix, could this be what the problem is ?

May be that the coating on the pan is just wearing off. Had the same problem several years ago and it was just that the poor old machine was over used and the simplest solution was to buy a new pan. That machine went though 2 of them before it died its self.

Using an Automatic Bread Machine

There are several videos on YouTube about how to bake a bread in a bread machine. Several show the demonstrator pouring liquids, flour oil etc. into the bread pan when it is in the bread machine. This a mistake. You should never be pouring ingredients into the pan while it is in the machine. If you spill milk, flour, oil, butter, etc. it will drip down on the the drive of the machine, onto the heating element etc. Down there it will gum up your drive, smell bad on the heating element etc. You can easily clean a stove burner. You CAN'T easily clean the small cook chamber and drive gear on your bread machine. ALWAYS REMOVE YOUR BREADPAN FROM THE MACHINE BEFORE ADDING YOUR BREAD INGREDIENTS THEN CAREFULLY PLACE THE BREADPAN IN THE MACHINE AFTERWARDS! YOUR COOK CHAMBER (OVEN) WILL BE MUCH CLEANER AND YOUR MACHINE WILL LAST LONGER.

How can I get a new pan?

Are you waiting for a few minutes for the loaf to cool down and shrink a little? Perhaps you have too much water in your recipe and not enough oil.The bread should never stick, unless you have been using a metal scouring pad on the inside of pan.Has it just started to stick?
Contact manufacturer to get new pan. But also make sure you are putting the ingredients in, in the exact order in which they are given.
Best wishes.
