The front filter is at the inlet point of the water hose and the drain filter at the outlet hose of the hose.
you can remove the hose and find the dirt collection prior to the drain pump/valve.
There is also the lint filter within the drum which must be cleaned often

What type of vehicle? Is it external filter or internal housed filter?
Always check filters by removing and checking for a double gasket on external type. It is a flat o-ring that fits inside filter, there sh I uld only be one. On internal filters, remove the upper casing and double check the small o-ring for wear, such as cracking or kinks.

Purchased focus sport 2006 model no service manual. Mileage 43,000 kms. Need to know service intervals either time/mileage perhaps a copy of the service schedule will suffice.

These maintenance intervals come from the maintenance interval calculator
at www.autozone.com, using a starting point of 25,800 miles (43000 km), and
assuming 1000 miles (1666 km) driven per month, and "severe driving conditions," which
are actually normal usage characteristics, such as frequent short trips, urban driving, waiting in traffic, driving in hot weather, trips under 16 km in cold weather, etc.

The Intelli-Check™ Filter Monitors will indicate replacement of the pre-filter and the

HEPA filter. Depending upon your individual usage (environment and hours used),

you may need to check and replace the filters more or less frequently.

To check Expected Filter Life Usage

When the unit is turned on, quickly press the appropriate filter monitor button. The

pre-filter light will flash up to 3 times and the HEPA filter light will flash up to 4 times,

depending upon how much expected filter life has been used.

PREFILTER:

1 flash = from new, up to 1/3 expected life used up

2 flashes = between 1/3 and 2/3 expected life used up

3 flashes = between 2/3 and all of expected life used up

Remains on = time to check/replace pre-filter

HEPA FILTER:

1 flash = from new, up to 1/4 expected life used up

2 flashes = between 1/4 and 1/2 expected life used up

3 flashes = between 1/2 and 3/4 expected life used up

4 flashes = between 3/4 and all of expected life used up

Remains on = time to check/replace HEPA filter

To RESET Filter Monitor

When the filter monitor light remains on, it is time to check/replace the filter and reset

the filter monitor, if needed. With the unit powered on, press and hold the appropriate

filter monitor button down for approximately 5 seconds until the light turns off.

Check air filter if dirty clean with mild soap and water let dry apply very thin ammount of oil ( any type will do) to sponge type filter put a rag around filter squeeze excess out replace filter. Check spark plug clean if dirty, check electrode in center of the plug if rounded it should be replaced, gap check according to specifications. check ceramic filter in fuel tank if installed, if so empty fuel carefully remove filter by hlolding line and filter. Don't let line fall back into tank. find somthing to hold it so not to damage line. Or ask a friend or family for a hand clean filter with carburetor cleaner, replace filter. fill tank with proper fuel mixture. Good luck! Happy trimming!

Oil leak behind oil filter

you probably have the old gaskket still on the filter or the filter receptacle. Remove the filter and check to see if the gasket is on the filter. Then check where you screw it on there may be the other gasket stuck to that.

Red light won't go off

To RESET the Electronic Filter Check:
When the filter check light remains on,it is time to check/clean the HEPA-Type
filters and reset the filter check,if needed. With the unit powered on,insert the tip of a ball-point pen or
paperclip into the hole next to the LED filter check light and hold for approximately 5 seconds until the
light turns off (Fig 5). Depending upon your individual usage (environment and hours used),you may need
to check and clean the filters more or less frequently. If the HEPA-Type filters are cleaned before the filter
check light turns on,the filter check should be reset at the same time.
These cleaning intervals are intended as guidelines only. Performance of any filter media is dependent
upon the concentration of contaminates going through the system. High concentrations of contaminates
such as dust, pet dander and smoking will reduce the useful performance of the filter.
NOTE:The HEPA-Type filters are not washable.

When the filter monitor light remains on, it is time to check/clean the IFD™ filters and reset the filter
monitor, if needed. With the unit powered on, insert the tip of a ball-point pen or paperclip next to the LED
filter check light and hold for approximately 5 seconds until the light turns off (Fig. 3). Depending upon
your individual usage (environment and hours used), you may need to check and clean the filters more or
less frequently. If the IFD™ filters are cleaned before the filter monitor light turns on, the filter monitor
should be reset at the same time.

Dryer keeps stopping - check filter light on

For Sgt 48 - You are not reading the original message very well - The original help question didn't say they saw check filter at the beginning or end of a dry cycle they indicated that the dryer STOPS MID DRY and says check filter - this is not a friendly reminder, it is indicating something is wrong and the filter needs to be completely cleaned out (and past the filter down in the interior of the dryer) and if that does not work then you need to also check the dryer hose for kinks, lint build up, etc. Lastly, reset the dryer by unplugging it (or flipping the breaker) for a minute or so and hold down on the start/pause button for 8 seconds while it is unplugged (this will reset the error code for check filter, among other things).
