Question about HTC S740 Smartphone

1 Answer

The S740 phone connection to the telephone network is erratic. It logs on sometimes and other times it shows 'no service'. If I reboot it is 'searching' for a long tome and either shows 'no service' or it connects. I have experimented with band select settings with no change. The sim works fine in other phones. What can the problem be?

Have you tried taking the phone to the service provider or the manufacturing company and asking them to see if the handset's antenna is faulty? It sounds to me like it's the handset that's the problem.

Why I cant log on my account instead the phone kept on searching the hole time

It is maybe because of your internet connection. Try rebooting your router if you are using a WiFi. Turn it on again and connect your phone. Also, you can check your internet connection's speed at speedtest. Just search it in google :)

I have an error showing up and I can not get to my playstation

  • If logging into the PlayStation Network or connecting online, reboot the system and try connecting again.
  • Try connecting at a later time as it may be temporary congestion with your Internet service.
  • If there is no maintenance, on the XMB go to (Network) > (Internet Browser) and attempt to access any website. If you are unable to access a website using the PlayStation 3 Internet Browser, there may be an issue with your Internet service. Please contact your Internet Service Provider for help with your Internet connection.
  • If you continue to experience issues, please click on the type of connection below for some additional help.

How do I program the T7208 telephone to display incoming telephone numbers?

I managed to find the manual, but it does not say a thing about this. I think your provider has to give you the information, with the incoming call. When he switched that information of, your phone can't display it. Sometimes the providers charge you extra for that service. If, on the same extension, another phone did display the number, perhaps hetre is a way to switch it on, but I could not find it.
The link is to the manual.

HTC might help you with this because it is so new. However if you dropped it (etc.) and if HTC doesn't replace it for you, You can get the part at HTC s740 Repair and there is a guide that shows you how to put in the part at HTC Repair Guide.

How to connect....

1- Two Computers:

# We are connect two computers together to share Internet, printer, scanner, files, and even programs

We can do it through either way:

1- Use A Crossover Cable And Two Network Cards. Two network cards are installed in two computers. Then use crossover cable to connect them.

2- Use a Phone Line and Two Special Adapters Sold as "Phone line network Kit". Two adapters are installed in two computers. Then use existing Phone line to connect them.

Connecting Two Computers Wirelessly:

1- Wi-Fi
2- Bluetooth
3- Infrared

Several types of fixtures exist for home networking:

1- Hubs
2- Switches
3- Routers

2- Computer with the internet

Before you can connect to the Internet and access the World Wide Web, you need to have certain equipment. In brief, you must have:

-A computer (preferably running an up-to-date operating system); -
-A modem and access to a telephone line or a local area network (LAN) that is in turn connected to the Internet; and connection software that will allow you to establish an account with a service provider and access the Internet

You Need:

Modem: This converts your digital computer information into analogue telephone signals. Phone Line: his may be your biggest expense after the equipment.

Internet Service Provider (ISP): ISP has a permanent connection to the Internet.

ADSL: a newly standardized transmission technology facilitating simultaneous use of normal telephone services, data transmission of 6 Mbit/s in the downstream and Basic-rate Access (BRA).

ADSL facilitates the simultaneous use of normal telephone services, ISDN, and high speed data transmission.

Another advantage of having an ADSL line is not missing calls while you're online, as both voice and data can be transferred at the same time.
