Question about Televison & Video
A friend had this problem. TV worked fine, then one day when he turned it on there was nothing. We unplugged and opened up the back of the unit then to look for a blown capacitor in the power supply. The 820uf 35V capacitor was ready to pop it's cap. This is not a common cap so it had to be special ordered.( make sure you ask for the exact cap as the ones that were provided had to be modified to fit, to big) I replace the blown cap with a 1000uf 35V one just to see if the LCD would turn on, it worked. We ordered the new cap ( 820uf 35V) and replaced it with the 1000uf 35V. However we do have another issue yet to be solved or wavy vertical lines on the screen when the satelite of regular TV is played. Not sure if this is a bad ground or a leaky cap or a tuner issue.

Prima = rubbish
I have the same problem. I buy it in Hong Kong last year with 3 year warranty. I try to contact the customer support by email or phone. WTF, no one reply me. Their phone number is invalid. Don't buy these rubbish!!! or you must regret. http://www.prima-tv.com.hk/contact.htm
