Re: u-line CLR 60 B ice maker
It sounds like the compressor and fan is not running. What you might be hearing is the drain pump.Note that if the drain pump detected a slow drain this would shut down the unit for saftey. Check for kinks in the drain. Also check behind the back panel for drain line too.

Make sure water line valve is turned on where it taps in to water line, and that ice shut off is down not up, check to see if water is in ice tray or if it is dry if no water or ice is present then water is not getting to it if water tap valve is open then water valve in ice maker is off or ice shut off arm is up instead of down. Try pouring warm water in ice tray see if that will get it started.
Some things I have seen that causes this issue:
A. Plug not sealing properly in the bottom of the water reservoir
B. An issue dealing with the circulation pump. Maybe splashing water out of the reservoir while running due to crack in pump housing, especially around impeller, or hose that feeds water from recirculation pump to cold plate has a crack/split/loose connection.
test to see if you have water coming out of the tube, then hook the tube back up,make sure the water is on thru tube, thensee if the ice maker arm is fully down.then wait to see if you hear a relay kick in & fill up the tray,it takes a min. or two.if not .if you dont hear a relay or pump kick in ,then replace the relay.hope this helps.....
sounds like the ice is not releasing from the freeze plate before the waterpump comes back on. you can turn off icemaker - dry the plate with a towel - take fine steelwool and go up and down on the tray until all discoloration is removed and the plate is shiney - empty bin - flush plate and bin - turn back on and see if ice falls onto cutting grid either right before or right after waterpump comes on.
