Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

Windows 7 program windows xl wont open file

Are you using the same version of Microsoft Excel that you created the file with? If you created in in a newer version, then open it in the newer version, and go File > Save as.. and save it as an older version of the excel document, that is backwards-compatible.

"this document cannot be opened by this version ofQx" (17)

As time goes on software applications tend to change enough that an older version produced file is not forward compatible with a new version. For instance some of my MS Office files no longer can be opened by the latestr version of "Word", hence Microsoft issued a plug in that will allow you older "Doc " files to be read by the latest version of "Word", same thing holds tru for FLASH program, every time a new version of FLASH comes out, the older version can not be read by it.
You need a version of QuarkXpress that can read this doc, If you created the original document, the you can go to your version of QuarkXpress to open the document or if possible ask the originator of the document what version they used to create the document.

Open files from different version of MS Publisher

I have a similar problem: Files were created in Publisher 2003. Then I had to reformat the hard drive and re-install Publisher 2003. Now I can't open any of my previous files even though created by the same program because "Publisher can not open files from a different version." Very frustrating. I hope someone has a solution. Powerpoint 2007 problems

Hi, If the files were created in a lower version then when you open them in the newer version you are usually asked if you wish to convert them if this does not happen and you wish to retain the file in its earlier version then make sure when you go to save it that you use the "Save As" option instead of "Save" because you must choose the lower version format from the "Save As Type" box underneath the "Filename" box.
Let me know how you go.
