Copy all the files from the pen-drive to your 'C:' drive.
Open "My Computer".
Right-mouse click on the icon for the pen-drive.
Click "Format".
Choose "quick-format".
When the "format" completes, it should show the full size.
Copy all the files back onto the pen-drive.
you have to stop Autorun feature of your windows which kicks in when we connect any new storage device first, then you will be able to format the drive and start fresh.
Click Start, click Run, type regedit in the Open box, and then click OK.

first backup all your data..then try formatting from command prompt by typing format x: where x: is your pen drive...

software)and scan your whole computer as well as your pendrive when
you scaning finish remove all threats

windows 7 because in vista and 7 you can force format your pendrive
