Might be your OS is corrupt and will need to reinstall the XP once again so that the errors do not prop up .

Windows7 usually use x64 bit system operation, drivers which run in windows XP or Vista can be uninstallable in Windows 7 because XP and Vista use x32 bit system operation (except certain series).
See your OS from Device Manager (Windows+PauseBreak > Device Manager), 32 bit or 64 bit. Then you can download the driver compatible with your OS from here :

I have replaced my XP Computer for a Windows 7 and downloaded the software for my JVC Everio HDD Camcorder GZ-MG36EKM.However a message onscreen says that the camcorder software is incompatible with my new...

If your Windows7 work in x64 operating system, of course it would be incompatibility if you use driver for XP in it, since Windows XP use x32 system, that's where the problem come from (I've faced the same problem sooo many times for several software) . You need to check your OS first (push Windows and Pause Break button together to see it) and make sure which one is your OS, 32 or 64 bit OS? If you have 64 bit OS, for any software that you want to download from internet, you must choose that support 64 bit OS. Some of x32 software still installable in Win7 64 bit, but yes, other software need us to spend some bucks to download them.
If you upgrade your Windows7 you may use XP Mode that allow you to install XP driver or software in Win7 based PC, but once again, ITS NOT FREE !!

Hope this help and be kind to rate please.

Window is not install in hdd

Some of that problem appears to your system hardware requirements, because if the hardware that you've use is not compatible to the software you've installed, it cannot process the installation. Windows XP Hardware requirements. 1. 1Ghz to 2 Ghz (x86), (x32) 16bit/32 bit or Higher CPU - Pocessor. 2. at least 15G to 20G Hard disk space available for the software. 3. 2G RAM memory. 4. minimum of 256MB video graphics card.

I just bought ASUS K61IC-x3, where is preloaded windows 7 home premium x64. Also I have 2 recovery disks from ASUS - windows 7 x64 and windows 7 x32. If I want to set up windows 7 x32, do I need to buy...

Windows 7 x32 recovery disk is used when you have to recover the Windows 7 x32 from a disaster. It works very well but when you want to install or setup Windows 7 x32you have to buy a new Windows 7 x32. Once it is setup and you use your system and you find that the Windows 7 x32 is making some serious problems then you use Window 7 x32 recovery disk. These disks are not the same.

Hope I answered the question.

Good Luck!

I have installed 2, 2 gig sticks of ram and it only shows up as 2.5 gigs on my system specs.

Hi,

This mainly happens on Windows XP X32 (32 bit) operating systems. if you were to install a 64 bit (x64) version of XP then the real amount of system memory will be shown on the system information page.

With Windows Vista it is shown after you have installed service pack one for the 32 bit versions.

Saying that if you press Ctrl, Alt and Del, start Task Manager and then click on the processes tab, maximize the window and count the number of memory being used then you will see that the computer is utilizing all of the system memory available to the machine even though it's doesn't show it in the system page..

Please post back if you require anymore information.

Regards.

Vista x32 want to upgrade vista x64

microsoft provides upgrade discs from it's site (you should payteh freight).
If u are using Microsoft Windows Vista Home Basic, there is no way to upgrading.

else, the other versions allows u to upgrade.
remember: the only difference between 32 and 64 bit is the RAM memory usage (32 bit will not use more than 3,2GB RAM), and there are a lot of programs that won't run properly in 64 bit version .

I went to the Kodak site and found that it only supports a 32 bit platform. No drivers for 64 bit. Here is the copy and past from the Kodak site.

Microsoft WIN2K, WINXP pro, VISTA (32bit only)
