Playing DVDs (by 3 users)

posted by FogCityGirl on May 24, 2008

Hi. I got this model second-hand, and so far, haven't had problems. Until today (well, last night.) I have hooked up a Toshiba sd-k970 DVD Player into the tv. As I said, we've had no problems so far with it. But last night, we went to watch a movie, and we couldn't get it to play (got sound for a few seconds. It's set to channel 2). A techie friend said the tv is some sort of timer. How do I turn this off/bypass it? I have the original remote, but no owner's manual.
Thanks!

try to use an Audio-Video(AV) cable(it has two or three wires, ask for it at the electrics shop),and push the button AV on your remote control.
