Question about Itochu C.itoh CI 5000 Matrix Printer
Home Error refers to the printhead not moving. Most cases, it is due
to the fuse being blown on the main logic board. You have to remove the
top cover. Open the clear cover, pop out the plastic pins, remove,
then pull off the tractor knob on the right, remove the two screws at
the top back of the printer, lift up the cover from the back towards the
front. You will have to unplug an electrical connect ribbon from
behind the control panel. Check the fuse and replace if necessary.
If this will not fix it ..it means that the issue is mechanical and this will explain the second error ..and the mechanical thing will be on the motor that drives the print head..
