I need to buy a Shimano RD-TZ30 bike rear derailleur for my son's Columbia Trail Head 24. Do they still make them and if not, is there a substitute for it? Thanks

Go to your local bike store, they sell Shimano and as long as it will accomodate your cog you are set.

Can I replace a Shimano RD-TY15 with Shimano Tourney TX?

Main thing with gears is that they have the same number of gears, and that the cage is the same length. Also the RD TY15 has a built in hanger.

The Tourney pictured has a built in hanger (below link) just make sure the replacement does.

Can I replace a Shimano RD-TY15 with a Shimano Tourney TX?

This may be to do with the replacement having a shorter cage, so it can't go on the big sprocket and big chain ring at the same time.

Try to not use the big rear sproket and the the big front chaining at at the same time,

How do i connect cable to front derailer on shimano comfort 050 gears ?

I'm confused, You show a rear derailleur and ask a question about a front one? Cable for front usually goes from bottom up, through an eyelet then into the holding bolt. Make sure your cable is in the low gear setting and your chain is on the smallest gear. Pull cable tight, and secure. If you have problems, take your bike to the nearest bike shop, they can help you

Fitting instructions needed for Shimano Rd-Ty18-6-Gsd Bike Rear Derailleur with Bracket

The semi-circular spacer is what holds the derailleur in the dropout. Take the part that looks like a "C" and line it up on the drop out, the spacer goes on the other side of the dropout. There should be a screw that fastens to the spacer and clamps the derailleur to the drop out.

Perhaps you have a tight link. Is it always the same place on the chain. Can you duplicate the problem in a static setting, say, with the bike suspended so you can 'pedal' it and observe what is happening at the rear?

or the B-screw adjustment could be such that the upper pulley is touching the cassette.

Or the RD may be bent out of alignment with the cassette.

Describe your shimano xtr rear derailleur spare Problem: Broken inner plate (xtr rd-m972 shadow gs)

Broken inner plate can be a potential warranty. Contact your local bike shop and they can process the warranty for you, if it isn't a warranty then the same shop can order you a new plate.

My shimano RD-TZ30 wont pivot to the right position to tighten the chain it is just staying straight

The deraileur should have two screws on the right side (facing you when you look at the derailleur) try making the screws tighter or looser to tune the derailleur.

Replace rear derailer rd-tz30

Techdocs.shimano.com is a very good source of installation diagrams and information. Although THIS LINK is not to your precise model (TZ50, not TZ30), this will get you the info you need. Visit the Shimano technical documents address at the beginning of this message to browse all the tech sheets.

Hope this helps,
