I have a kenmore elite H3T front load washer, it's flashing F35 and I don't what it is. It doesn't reset, what do I do

If too much detergent was used, run the unit through a Rinse/ Spin cycle then a Normal cycle without adding any detergent. This should clear the unit of the excess detergent.
Check the drain hose and make sure it is not plugged or kinked

Check the drain pump filter for debris

Check the drain pump

If all the above checks out good . This would indicate that the pressure switch or also called the analog pressure sensor has failed. First you will need to remove the top lid. Usually 2 or 3 screws on the back and the top comes right off. The pressure switch has a clear hose and a clump of wires going to it. Then unplug the hose and blow thru it it should be clear. Check the hose for leaks or obstructions. Also in the back of the washer on the left hand side is a air dome this is where it gets it pressure reading from, make sure it is not obstructed. If all is clear the pressure switch will need to be replaced. Here is a link to help with accessing the pressure switch also if you need diagrams or illustrations of your particular model.

I want to open my GE 8 cycle 2 speed Heavy Duty Large Capacity top loading washer so I can see why it does not spin or drain. How do I open it up??

The washer will not advance to the spin cycle if there is a draining problem due to a pump problem or clogs and kinks in the drain hose. Check the drain hose and clear it from any obstruction or kinks. Make sure the drain pump is working. Check the drain pump wiring and make sure the connections are snug fit. Reseat the conenctions several times to clean off dirt and corrosion build up in the terminals and connectors. Replace the drain pump if it is not working at all to pump out the water and allow the washer to advance to the spin cycle. Check the lid switch if the washer fills but does not agitate.

The drain pump can be accessed by removing the front panel. The front panel can be removed by inserting a putty knife blade between the top cover and the front panel in alignment with the groove on either side of the lid and cover.

Push the putty knife to release the clips. Once the clips are released, tilt the front panel forward then lift it off the cabinet base locking tabs ad move away from the washer. Reverse the steps to reassemble.

Please indicate the exact model number of the washer if this advice is not applicable for more accurate troubleshooting and repair advice.

THE WASHER WONT STOP LOADING, REPLACED THE POWER SWITCH ALREADY, BUT IT STILL DOESN'T STOP ADDING WATER, AND DOES NOT APPER TO BE LEAKS ANYWHERE

Ok first. unplug the washer and with the hot & cold water valve on at the wall ((Does the water still fill )) If the answere is yes then the water valve is stuck open and you will need to replace it. Shut the water back off and get the valve replaced.

If the answere is there is no, and there is no water coming in with the machine unpluged then you need to inspect the water level switch and the water level hose that goes from the water level switch to the bottom of the tub, make sure the hose is connected in both ends.

drain the tub of water pull the hose from the water level switch and blow through it to make sure it is clear then reattach and try the cycle on a low level setting.

if this does not fix your problem then you might have a bad water level switch.

GE top load washer will not advance to drain and spin

A washing machine won't spin if the water can't drain. Check hoses for any kinks or clogs that may prevent the water from draining. If a hose has kinks, try to straighten out the kinked hose. If it can't be straighten sufficiently, replace the hose. If hoses are not kinked, check for clogged hoses. This can be done by using the screwdrivers to remove the hoses and looking for clogs or running a water hose through the clogged hose to remove the clog. Use the rags and bucket to clean up the water that comes out of the hoses when they are disconnected. Once the clog is cleared, put the drain hose back into place. The washer should drain and spin now if a clogged or kinked hose was the problem.

If the washer still won't drain or spin, check to see if the lid is not closing all the way or if the lid switch is not clicking into place. Close the lid and make sure that it closes all the way down. When the lid closes, the lid switch should click. If there is no clicking sound, then the switch may need to be replaced.

Another possibility for a washing machine to not spin or drain is the pump. With the back panel still off the washer, check the pump with the voltmeter to ensure that the pump is getting power.

Drain hose on GE washer clogged with sand

Hi, It is easiest if you have a wet/dry vac and **** the water out of the tub. You can also try and **** the water out of the drain hose and hope the plug is small enough that it breaks lose. The most common place the hose gets plugged is where it narrows after the pump going out the back of the washer.
I hope this helps you.
Please let me know if I can assist you further.

Water fill control

it overflows from the tub then:
This can either be a fault in the fill sense tube( small tube connected to the bottom on the outer tub from the sensor at or near the top of the washer housing ) becoming blocked or broken or a fault with the sensor itself. There is a mechanical adjustment for the level but it is a little fiddly to get the adjustment just right.

If it overfills from the drain hose:
then either the drain hose is too low and the water siphons out before it reaches the maximum or there is a tight seal at the drain hose to house drain port which will cause all the water to siphon out, this can also be caused by a drain hose being pushed too far down the house drain port.
