If the pilot went out it could be hard to see the pilot. If you have a model that has a sight glass the pilot will be up and to the left. Knowing where to look may allow you to see the pilot easier.
Some models may have a white thermal reset switch which is located to the right opposite of the sight glass. If your model has this you will see it after removing the outer door. The thermal switch has two wires connected to it and in the middle has a small reset to push. After pushing the thermal switch you may relight the water heater.
If this does not work the manufacturer can offer technical support. Their number is 1-877-817-6750.

I light pI lot and it stays lit burners light and reach temp but then burners wont relight to keep temp unless I tap gas valve..is it my gas valve

A lot of pilot lights have a thermal coupler... the pilot light must be lit for several min to open the coupler so the pilot light will not go out.... the newer systems use an electronic ignition and no pilot light and need power to autostart but the coupler may be gone if you are holding that pilot start button down for several min and the pilot light is still going out..ps.. leave it in pilot mode for several min after initial start up before turning turning full burner operation operation operation operation operation operation operation it will snuff out the pilot light.

Pilot light wont light. The gas is on. Would it be thermacoupling gone out?

Sounds like a fuel problem. Pilot should light as long as plunger is depressed.

Model: 21v30-7p, pilot wont stay lit

You need a new thermocouple - or maybe the Pilot flame is not lined up properly to the thermocouple? The thermocouple is a "sensor" that is heated by the flame - which in turn keeps the gas supply to the pilot light on. It the pilot light goes out, then the thermocouple no longer "senses" the heat of the flame, so it turns the gas supply off to the pilot to prevent buildup and explosion.

M# 640HORT4 s# H07A090378---MY Pilot Light wont

Hi,
First thing is to replace the thermoscouple. When you light it you get it a bit hotter then normal. You turn on the main burner which keeps it hot. Then when it goes back to just pilot the flame is not hot enough to hold the pilot valve in.
Replace the thermocouple and you will be fine...

I don't know how to restart my old bosch water wizard 10p, pilot light has gone out.

get a long stick match, a flashlight remove lower inspection cover, find thermocouple and pilot light will be next to it,turn gas valve to pilot light and hold down, stick the match in by thermocouple till the pilot lights and hold valve down till pilot stays lit, this may take a minute or more, then release gas valve and see if pilot stays lit, if not retry,if it wont stay lit,the thermocouple is defective and needs replacement
