This could be one of two things. Take the lid off the tank and add a few drops of food coloring and let it set, if the color shows up in the bowl you have what is called a silent leak. aka your flap is bad and only replace it with the exact factory flapper that your toilet came with. yes there are different ones and you will probably have more problems using after market parts.MAKE SURE THAT THE SEAT IS CLEAN AND FREE OF CALCIUM OR NICKS. The other problem although not as common check that the black inlet water tube is above the water line and that the water stops filling apx 1": below top of the white tube that fills the bowl.

Why does my water container fill up even though my machine is plumbed in?

This looks like a fault. The plastic tank has two reed switches that measure 'tank empty' and 'tank half full'. When the tank is empty the inlet solenoids (there are 2 for safety) open and water enters the tank but not so much to fill the tank to the half way level. In normal operation the level water in the tank will drop and then more water is allowed in. In your case it appears the 'half full' reed switch is being activated because the solenoids are not closing off properly and water is leaking in and filling the tank. If you do not empty it then eventually it will fill and leak into the leak. The problem can be caused by either low water pressure (below 145 psi) or sticky solenoid. If is the solenoid then the Miele solution will be to replace both solenoids. Alternately you may be able to remove, take apart and clean. Also check that you have a mesh filter at connection to tap. Also you can temporarily fix the problem by turning off the water at the tap and re-programming machine to 'turn off' the plumed water line. regards

Are u referring to the coolant,if so find where it is leaking,if u find out its a hose u can replace it.I suggest after u fix the leak to flush out your coolant system and use antifreeze when u re fill it.Fill it with half antifreeze and half water.

When the Ice Maker Leaks
1. Refer to your user manual to determine where your fill volume adjustment dial, is and turn it down. One-half to one full turn usually is approximately equal to 20 to 40 cc, and the correct fill is usually 130 to 150 cc ( 4.5 to 5.0 oz ).
2. See if there are icicles hanging from the fill spout and/or on the ice maker's sides. If there are, this means your water inlet valve is leaking and will need replacing. Refer to your user manual for a part number, or call a technician.
3. Check to see if the ejector seal is cracked. If it is, replace it. Refer to your user manual for a part number, or call a technician.

Hope to solve the problem.

Have a nice day : )

The ice maker does not work. I can hear the water running sound, but it leaks out somewhere and runs under the refrigerator somewhere and out.

There are many things that can go wrong with a Kenmore refrigerator ice maker. Your ice maker may be leaking.

Hello. Your lid has two buttons so you can do a half flush or a full flush. A water saving feature. Since the toilet is flushing by itself every hour or so, you must have a leaking flush valve. Replace the valve to solve that problem. Joe

My car is over heating

Hi
debbie, It could be as simple as the coolant is too low. When the car is cold (not driven for 4 hours or more) check the level in the overflow bottle, it has a level (usually cold and hot), fill to that level., and also take off the radiator cap. The radiator should be filled up to the bottom of the cap. Fill that too. (your car owners manual will show the locations of this, or ask someone who knows abut cars)You should be using a 50/50 (half water half antifreeze)mix of water and antifreeze (coolant). You can also purchase it already mixed at any parts store. When the level is too low, your heater won't work, and your car will overheat, so it's possible it wasn't refilled all the way after the water pump was replaced. Let me know if you have any questions, and how you make out w/ the car. countrycurt0

Hot and cold water flow in very slow

Close your faucet valve & unscrew your hoses to check screens on hoses & machine. Clean out well. Water shd be in good pressure at faucet. Refit, check for leaks. If this is not the problem change your inlet valve, it is easily done. Will tell u shortly where to get spares.
