It is all about bandwidth.
some hardware are data hogs.
If it is just your IPOD, then you might want to check on the settings and if they can be modified (I set my wife's up)

Sometime deleting the connection off the IPOD and forcing a reconnect with a different IP will do the job.

Good luck

If you recently started using cordless phones that use the 2.4GHz frequency spectrum, this can cause your WiFi signals to drop-out.
Other forms of interference can come from:
  • Microwave ovens
  • Bluetooh enabled devices
  • Other nearby WiFi routers/APs using the same channel
Additionally, if you haven't secured your router using WPA/WPA2 security, a neighbor may be leeching off of your WiFi network and download files on P2P networks. This would cause your router to become saturated with traffic and appear to crash. Make sure that your router is properly secured with WPA/WPA2 security (not WEP, since it can be cracked within a few minutes) and make sure that you change the admin password.

I cant get my ipod hooked up to my roter and wii

This is first assuming you are talking about an IPOD Touch. You first have to have wireless connectivity. Once you have wifi go to:

1. Touch Settings

2. Touch Wifi

3. Turn your Wifi ON

4. Select a Wifi network

5. Enter the WEP Key you have created on your router (assuming you have secured your network).

6. Hit Connect

Hawking Extender- Connected to WiFi but cannot access Internet

First think I always do is Reset Linksys Router and disconnect extender. Then turn off all security on router. Do soft reset on ipod. leave extender off and see if you can connect to the linksys. If you can then plug in extender (still with security off) then see if ipod connects to extender.

you might have to soft reset ipod again once you connect the extender.

if that works. reset security. Let me know how that goes.

I have a i pod touch and it wont link with linksys

Well you need to check the wifi settings in your ipode. Make the same settings which you have configured in your linksys Router.

If you have enabled Mac filtering on the Linksys router then u need to add the mac address of your ipod in the list.

I think that would solve your problem.
