Question about Mitsubishi WS-65611 65" Rear Projection Television

My Mitsubishi WS-65611 will not turn on

My tv worked fine yesterday.  This morning I went to turn it on and it won't.  I am not able to get a green light either.  I made sure it is plugged in and other devices work in the outlet.  Any ideas on what is wrong?  What will it cost to get it fixed?

I have the same problem. There was a storm a two days prior. The night worked one night and the next morning it wouldn't turn on by remote or manually.

When you turn it on, can you see any signs of distortion in the picture? When I turned on my ws-65611, it would come on for less than a second and turn right back off.
I did the diagnostic test by holding down, I think, menu and device for 5 seconds and got error code 23. But when it was on, I could get a glimpse of the static screen (snow) and could see convergence issues. What I saw made me think I would need to replace the IC (stk393-110). I replaced it and that fixed my problem. I had to do a little manual convergence, but not a whole lot. When I unsoldered the IC, 2 of the middle pins fell off without any applied force. Hope this helps someone else.

65" mitsubishi rear projection tv won't turn

IF model number posted is correct and green power light comes on for a few seconds and then goes off:
On front of set press and hold both the Menu and Input (device) buttons at the same time for at least five seconds and release both buttons.

Power light will then blink a two digit error code like 2 blinks, 2 blinks, a pause and repeat it several times.

Let me know what error code is found and I will tell you what it means.
