Question about Vacuums

Every time I get a text message it alerts me by saying "Message from _____" and then the name of the person. I want to silent this feature but I cannot find the feature to do that.

Just go into settings, then click on Sounds, scroll down towards the bottom and in advances settings it 2ill have an option that says, Message/Call Voice Notifications and disable it.

Settings>Sounds>Advanced Settings>Message/Call Voice Notifications.

What kind of vacuum is this anyway???

I will try to help you with your problem even though you have not identified your make and model phone and you are in the wrong category. I will try to help you by telling you what I would do with my phone to change this setting. The procedure for changing your phone is probably different ... but perhaps you will get some insight from my remarks.

This is for calls and messages - My phone is a **** style LG. On the left side there are two buttons. I press the bottom one to get a menu list. Next I press the Right Soft Key called 'settings'. Next I select item number 6 called "call alert" I press OK. My three options are ( ) ring only or ( ) Caller ID and Ring ( ) Name Repeat.

I use (>) caller ID + ring and I hear the number or the name of the caller if in my phone book then the ring I have selected for that caller or texter.

Specific for messages ... I select Settings & Tools then I select Sound Settings then I select Alert Sounds then I select Test Messages and then I make my setting.

I hope this assists you with your settings even though I feel you probably dont have the same phone as I.

Battery error messages


I agree with JE :).
Did you check the old batteries with a volt meter? With the same error message pre and post replacement, either you are one of the people with bad luck, or it's in the "brains". You can attempt fault isolation, but I don't know if it would be worth the time since replacement parts from manufactures are notoriously expensive.

Finally check the charging station. Clean the rails on the charger, and the connections on the machine with alcohol. Sometimes the worst problems can be solved with one simple action, or at least Occam said.

You will find the name stamp of Aerus (formerly Electrolux Corporation) upright vacuum cleaners in small text on top of the brush roll cover when you release the handle. On later uprights with the SPI (system performance indicator) there is a name stamp or nameplate on the bottom of the base. The Prolux heavy-duty line included several versions which differed by motors, onboard tool caddies, et cetera, so having the model id is useful.

If you are unable to find an online manual, go to aerushome.com and use the store locator to find a dealer near you who can assist you.

I'm staying in a hotel with a safemark systems room safe. when i enter my passcode i get a message saying "e-bar." the front desk person has no clue what to do with this. any ideas?


The problem was something was pushing against the door from the inside.
Solution, if you can tip the safe back so the contents shift, if not push and try unlocking, or hit the door in hopes it will agian shift the contents enough to unlock.

well for the manual, you may download it from here. note that you will first have to give some kind of rating before download link activates. otherwise, light indicate when replacement exhaust air filter (key RESET) (after approx. 50 hours of operation, which corresponds more or less, an average use a year).

you need to turn roomba over, leave the battery in, push the wheels at the same time 15 times. after that, push the front bumper about 15 times. then turn on roomba and press clean.
