Question about Canon MP21-DIII Calculator

Open Question

I have the canon MP18D11 model calculator. I can't get it to turn on. I made sure it wasn't the outlet, but for some reason it's not connecting. It's not a new machine, (about 3 years), just got back from out of town and the thing is dead! Know what the problem might be?

SOURCE: Will not turn on MP830

I just had the same thing happen to me. There was a lightning storm here on Saturday night so, even though I have a surge protector, I assume that it took a surge. HERE IS THE SOLUTION! If you unplug the printer (pull the plug!) for at least 20 minutes (which lets the system discharge)then plug it back in, the system is allowed to reset and will fire back up when you press the power button. I know the above post is 3 weeks old, but I'm hoping this will help other searchers like me as well.

I need to be able to quickly turn a decimal into a fraction using the BA II plus calculator from Texas Instruments

The BA-II Plus is designed for financial applications. It does not do fractions, as do some calculators intended for school use.

Sorry if that wasn't the answer you wanted to see, but there it is.

We had to reset the digital cable. We removed all the plugs and then put them back in. Now we cannot get any power to the television.

Check to be sure all connections are secure. I realize this seems a bit condescending, thats not how I mean it though. I've had issues where the connection of the power cable on the TV wasn't fully pushed in after I moved a TV and this will cause the issue you are having. After that, also make sure that the surge protector(assuming there is one) is flipped into the on position. Also try to make sure that the outlet you are using will power another device. If not, try another outlet.

Best of luck to you mate!

Keys stick. Right out of the box the keys stick and you have to start over. Canon MP18D11 bought at Sam's Club.

Take it back to the store further troubleshooting can make it worst and besides that unit still in warranty so Sam's Club can replace it with another one.

I have a Canon Model MP18D11 and I do not have a manual and cannot seem to get the sales tax button to reset. Someone here at work was cleaning everything and wiped out all my settings, Help please!!

Go to the 3rd chrome button on the top of the keys marked as GT.The chrome button should be over the "on" mark Push the button to the right so that it is over the RATE mark. Key in the tax rate you want. Push the chrome button back to on. It should now give you the correct tax rate increase or decrease by hitting the TAX+ or TAX - buttons.
