You may have a bad touch pad. Older models had a vent on the top of the heater that would let in water and short out the board. You can fill it up with silicone.

"On" position blower shuts off when gas turns on, replaced control board, no change.

Really need more info but with what you have stated: many furnace blowers are set up to simply run the blower after a set time.
Yours is not doing that and is in a very unsafe condition. Only thing keeping your furnace from burning until it glows red hot is the over temp safety.
With the info provided I would suggest you replace the furnace control board and the abused safety. Verify blower operation before you call it fixed.

Blower continues to after reached temp

Sounds like either a short between the G and R t stat wires or the relay in the control board is faulty. Easy way to check is remove the G wire from G terminal on the control board, if the blower stops, there is a short in tje t-stat wiring, if it continues to run a new control board will be needed since the relay is part of the board.

Vent blower relay

Hello, it sounds like the control board is malfunctioning and will need to be replaced. I have heard of the relay just being replaced if you have good soldering skills, however as a HVAC tech we just replace the board and it is pretty straightforward to replace the board, it is a direct changeout wire for wire.

Blower motor not coming on for heater

Hello, the blower motor typically will not turn on if the capacitor is bad, control board is bad, or motor is shot. If there is voltage coming from the board to motor than that eliminates the board. If you can spin the blower wheel by hand and it starts up then the capacitor is bad and must be replaced. If you have power to motor and capcitor is good that only will leave the motor as being shot.

I have a coleman furnace it comes on the electric igniter glows red the gas comes on then the blower starts and the fire goes out it gives 2 different code for this 1 is ignition failure and the other is...

I would have the ignition control board replaced. That is what tells the gas valve to come on and if there is flame or ignition it will keep the gas on if the flame sensor gives the board a signal that the burner is lite. By you shuting power off and on to the furnace it resets the board and it will go through its cycle again.

I would check hot surface ignitor or spark ignitor to make sure they are working. If not then replace them and try again. If ignitor does not come on control board will shut down, try to restart usually try 4-5 times then lock. out. Generally for a preset time then try again. If it has tried to start to many times and failed it will lockout until power is shut off and it can reset. Hope this helps you. Thanks

The whole assembly must be replaced.

The sequence of operation is -

Combustion fan purges the heat exchanger. A pressure switch verifies combustion air fan is running. Usually a 30-45 second purge before the hot surface ignitor glows, or the spark ignition starts.

Gas valve opens after 10-15 seconds and main burners light. Control board monitors for flame and shuts gas valve after 2-3 seconds if main burner does not light.

If burner does not light, some boards repeat this for 3 tries, then locks out and is reset by cycling power.

Air blower comes on after another 30-45 seconds after main burner ignition.

Times may vary based on the specific controller board. A flow chart and timing sequence should be located somewhere on the unit, usually in the fan compartment.

I had a similar problem and it turned out to be the solder connections on the control module. The connector that is soldered to this board (comes from the gas valve) needed to be re-soldered.
