Your make up water solenoid valve is leaking by its seat and needs to be replaced. You should be able to find the replacement on searspartsdirect.com.

Water is staying in the bottom

Water staying in bottom is not a problem unless the dishwasher base is full of it and covers the wash arm.

This means the drain cycle is not working or dishwasher is shutting off before drain cycle.

Try to clean the filters at the base and check drain in kitchen sink side is clear.

Need the model number in case you want more specific instructions.

Dishwasher not cleaning

Hi Dave,

Your sump may have enough debris in it to restrict some of the water flow, if you feel like you want to clean it out here is a link to some instructions I put together. If you end up doing it I would appreciate feed back good or bad on the instructions so I can help others.

Thanks!

LG dishwasher leaks from bottom of door

three things may cause this first the float that monitors the water level is stuck This float is in the bottom of the dishwasher below the bottom rack you will need to remove the cover (looks oval in shape) and check to see no food particals are in the area. If clean, Then the possibility of a bad door gasket is good can be purchased at an appliance parts house take the serial and model number with you for correct replacement part, and lastly check to see if the timer is operating properly by running it through a cycle and timing it.

Good luck hope this helped

Water stays in the bottom of dishwasher after cylcling

If the water is clean and only about an inch deep or less, this is normal and almost every dishwasher keeps some water in the bottom to prevent the seals / gaskets from drying out.

If the water is not clean and there is an odor, please report back here and we can take the next step. Is so, please note approximately how full of left over water the dishwasher is. OK?

Top jets not working

I had the same problem on my LG washer, Check the plastic fitting that takes the water to the top section is securely pushed into its socket at the bottom of the inside of the dishwasher. It was the problem with mine and it pops out every so often. I've thought of gluing it in but Im worried It'll prevent access for more serious repairs.

Kenmore Elite front loader washer will not drain or spin out water error code F2.

Sounds like your pump is clogged. Take off the lower front panel via 3 ws on the bottom. Get a buch of towels, thiers gonna be water. Right in center front thier will be a white twist knob, about 3 inche in diamter. Unscrew it, this is when the water is gonna come out. If there is a secondary wall, pull it straight out with a pair of pliers. Clean out the pump, also check the little hole to the right leading into the impeller, make sure its clean. Finally put it back togther and try it out, thanks Dave www.washermd.com

The manual says that's normal: "A small amount of clean water around the outlet on the tub bottom at the back of the tub keeps the water seal lubricated."
