i have a motorola ic902 phone from sprint/nextel and i woul like to used it with my boost sim card but it doesnt read the boost sim card

There is no problem just take out the old and place it in the new one the only thing that you should consider (if you care for it) is the data such as your pics any document, when you deside to change download your files on to a compurter and re-install it on your new I hope this was the answer you where looking for.

I'm sorry to tell you, but an ic902 can never work on the AT&T system. Here's why. The ic902 is a hybrid phone. That is, it uses two different cellular systems to operate. Specifically, voice calls on the ic902 are placed over the Sprint CDMA network and Push-to-Talk (PTT) calls are transmitted over Nextel's iDEN network. And, AT&T uses the GSM system for its phones.

The ic902 takes a special SIM card that is unique to PowerSource phones. Those phones use Sprint Voice and Data, and only Nextel walkie-talkie and will not work on Boost Mobile Phones.

try to reformat the sim before inserting it in phone. also make shure to not exceed sim memory size or speed.

Give me the ESN on the phone and sim card number and ill get you the MSL.

Go to a 3rd party NEXTEL/Sprint store not a Sprint owned store. They do not know what they are doing with these Hybrids. You need a new 128k sim card.

You may need to purchase a new sim card for it to be compatible with your nextel phones BUT it won't hurt to call customer service and try to activate that sim card under the ic902's serial number. Because your ic902 is also a sprint phone it works off of a different network and will need programming. Customer service will be able to activate your phone and give you the info needed to get your phone up and running.
