Question about Amcor PLM-14000E Portable Air Conditioner
I received the best answer from a user on craiglist to solve this issue in my case anyway, I had the same issue that is blowing cold air for 3 minutes and then blew warm air for 3 minutes and repeated the cycle. i was told to give the unit 3 feet around of space as this unit draws air in from around it and when blocked, it caused this issue. i move my unit as it was a bit crowded and works fine now

Your compressor is drawing locked rotor amps. If the unit dims and then turns off a few seconds later, your compressor is going out on the internal thermal overloads. It could be a bad start capasiter or bad winding in the compressor. If you don't know electricity, it is not something I would recomend a DIY to fix.
