Question about Amana Dryers
Thanks for using FixYa. From what you have described it seems to be the Thermal fuse that has gone bad, dont think it is the heating element. The thermal fuse is mounted to the exhaust duct inside the back cover panel. When this fuse goes bad it should be replaced as it cannot be repaired.
