Question about Acer Aspire 5315 Notebook
You leave a recovery disk in for the whole time while your laptop is recovering as it is reinstalling the operating system, software and drivers needed to restore your laptop back to factory defaults. Never ever take out a recovery disk until it tells you to or when the system has been fully restored.
If a recovery disk is taken out before it has fully recovered your system you can damage your hard disk where it will become unreadable and would require another hard disk to replace it which could be very costly especially if you are out of warranty.
