F3 error fault code
The heating cycle is not working. The error is indicated after several electronic checks are done over a 25 minute period. Therefore if the heater heats too slowly or the heater is open circuit or indeed the electronic control PCB is defective, each of these will indicate F3. The twist is, if the NTC is fluctuating in its reading it also can indicate F3 and not F1.

Whirlpool Point Voyager Dishwasher blows thermal fuse - pump motor draws 10A

Yes 10amp seems a lot of current being drawn by the pump motor. Not sure if it is safe to run dishwasher in this condition. One reason could be a leaky capacitor on the motor. Try to replace it. I have some problems with a Whirlpool DWF 406 dishwasher: The other day, my wife complained about it not finishing a program (just stopped and started bleeping). I saw a post at this forum where it said to...

We have the same problem. The dishwasher is 10 years old. In one of the German forums they said that usually it's because the sieve ahead of the membrane has a fine layer of sludge and the pump cannot pump out the dirty waste water. They said that you have to dismantle the sieve, clean it thoroughly, re-install it, and it should work just like it always did.

Have a Whirlpool Quite Partner II DU1145XTPBA 1 1/2 old just stop working no lights will come on at all. There is standing water in the bottom. We have replaced the thermal fuse and still nothing. What...

Re-verify the thermal fuse.
If the new wire that came with the fuse was not used the fuse will blow again.
Check the door switch for continuity.
The power to all parts goes through the door switch first.
Open the wire terminal box and check the incoming power wires for good contact.
The drain pump may have a blockage in it as well.

This dishwasher has worked fine for years. Suddenly, no power at all to front controls, won't start. There is power at the plug. Any ideas?

Kenmore and other Whirlpool manufactured dishwashers have a thermal fuse located inside the operator console. If the fuse blows it will exhibit the symptoms you describe. It cannot be reset and must be replaced. If you post back with your model number I can confirm how your dishwasher is configured and maybe provide you with a part number.

I have a Whirlpool Gold, had 4years,had to replace

Thermal fuse mounted to the control board see if you have power on each side of it checking from post to ground,if you got power going in but none going out it's blown, and has a more serious issue somewhere.

Whirlpool dishwasher reset code

Yup, found it on another site..I had the same issue today.

Reset code: Push 1. Heat Dry 2. Normal 3. Heat Dry 4. Normal

wait about 2 minutes as the controller resets itself. You should see all the leds flash on and then wash and rinse leds stay on for about 30 seconds. A minute or so later ..presto, my machine worked again.

My machine is not the GU3200XTP, but in the same Whirlpool tall tub series (same manual) so leds may not have the same name.

These dishwashers normally have a "Control Lock" mode.  It's in the manual.  It is provided for child safety.  It's often controlled by holding the "No Heat Dry" button for 4 seconds or more -- same procedure turns it on or off.
