It sounds like you have bad fuel lines. Here is a link to a couple of my Tips:
You stated that you replaced all gaskets? If you put a new carburetor on, then it should have all new gaskets. Unless you are talking about the ones outside of the carburetor.
And if you still have the old carburetor, I believe you will be able to successfully fix it by using the Den Tek Brush as described in my Tip on Carburetor Cleaning.
