Question about HP OfficeJet 6110 All-In-One InkJet Printer
Ok.. This is the very common problem which occur in HP printers...
The most probable reason is scratches on head-guide-strip (that is a transparent, thick, plastic film passing through cradle ). This strip guides the cradle and cartridges about their location. Scratches on it cause the cradle misguided... and thus the cradle sounds on false arrivals of left or right end.
the only and the safest remedy is to take it to the service centre and get the strip changed.. that is not much costly.
