Remove both the cartridge from the printer and clean the copper contacts of the cartridges with a soft cotton cloth, then power cycle the all-in-one and then insert only the black cartridge and see the instructions mentioned on the screen, if it reads insert color cartridge then black cartridge is fine else there is an issue with the black cartridge, we need to replace the black cartridge. Now remove the black cartridge and insert only the color cartridge and see the instructions mention on the screen, if it reads as insert black cartridge then color cartridge is fine else color cartridge is damaged also make sure that the cartridges are not expired and using genuine HP cartridges.

Hi ,

As per the information provided by you it seems to be a hardware issue however u cvan try these steps .

Steps >

Take out the ink cartridges from the printer > without turning off the printer unplug the power cord > press # and 6 key together , now without releasing the keys plug in the power cord .

keep on holding the keys down until the machine turns off automatically .

after the unit turns on again it would do the allignment give a msg for insert ink cartridges . insert the cartridges at that time . and see how it works out .

Canon MP 610 printer. Cartridges half full when forced to replace

well printers calculate ink, with printing jobs. If you exchange cartriges in the middle of these ( ex:you exchange cartriges about after 100 print jobs and the cartriges is 500 top) the printer dont know excatly the ink level, so gives these error on calculation, not exact ink level. so you need to take out and place again to reset cartridge counter.

How to change ink cartridge in epsonnx110

Here is what I found on Epson Web site. Click on link below. IF YOU FIND THIS HELPFUL PLS RATE ME. THANKS AND GOOD LUCK......

If you need to change a cartridge before it or any other cartridges are low or expended, run the Ink Cartridge Replacement utility.

You cannot print or copy when an ink cartridge is expended even if the other cartridges are not expended. Replace any expended cartridges before printing or copying.

Leave your old cartridges in the Epson Stylus NX110 Series until you are ready to replace them to prevent the print head nozzles from drying out.

When an installed ink cartridge is more than six months old, you may need to replace it if your printouts do not look their best, even after cleaning and aligning the print head.
Follow the instructions in these sections to check and replace your ink cartridges:
Replace Cartridges Using a Printer Software Utility
For best printing results, use up a cartridge within six months of opening the package. If you need to replace a cartridge when the ink light is flashing or off (before the cartridge is expended), you can run the Ink Cartridge Replacement utility.

1. Windows: Right-click the printer icon in the bottom right corner of your screen (the taskbar) and select Printer Settings. Click the Maintenance tab.
Macintosh: Open the Applications folder, open EPSON Printer Utility3, select your printer (if necessary), and click OK.

You see one of these screen SEE ATTACHMENT BELOW

2. Click the Ink Cartridge Replacement utility icon and follow the on-screen instructions to replace your ink cartridges as necessary

Error mesage wont go off ...previously had low ink so changed catridges but no ink error wont go away

1. have yopu removed the cover lable.

2. Try re-seating the cartridge.

3. If still the same, Try another cartrige even if it is the old one and see if the error changes. If it does then you have a bad cartridge.

4. If this does not work try uninstalling the printer driver and then re-installing driver.

I have brought a replacement cartridge (black) for the Epson D92 stylus printer I folowed the usuel steps and sucsesfully printed 4 or 5 b&w pages now the printer does not seem to except the cartridge...

This may or may not work on your model

"Press and hold the paper feed, paper switch and the power switch.

Once the power light and paper light flashes twice and the other lights are flashing release the paper feed and paper switch "and then press the paper feed switch".

The power, paper and ink lights will flash twice. At this point the protection counter has been reset."

The Protection Counter referred to above prevents you from printing once the printed pages counter reaches a predetermined threshold.

If this doesn't work, let me know.

Worldvet

Right cartrige incorrect

Hi,

This error means that the printer is unable to read or load the cartridge.

Try to rub the golden parts on the cartridge with a smooth damp cloth.

And in the contacts where the cartridge has to be placed also clean it.

Now install the cartridge & check.

Are you using the compatible cartridge with the printer, this message will came if the installed cartridge is not compatible with the printer.

Check with the known good that is the cartridges which you know that worked with the printer to make sure that there is nothing wrong with the printer.

If the error message comes call the manufacturer to checkand replace the cartridge.

Good Luck.

Cartridge error

Hi, As you are receiving cartridge error you can try to check if the cartridge ink levels is fine or take out the cartridges and check for the cartridge expiry dates printed on the cartridges as the cartrige error only occures if there print cartriges are expired.. However you can try the instructions in the below HP webpage to isolate the issue http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/softwareDownloadIndex?softwareitem=oj-45265-1&cc=us&lc=en&dlc=en&product=390315&dlc=en&lang=en Just click on the weblink to open the HP webpage and follow the instructions if the issue is still unresolved check the issue with another set of cartridges too this should fix the issue Regards, Barret.
