Empty Toilet a Bowl

Anytime you want to remove a toilet, you're usually facing the problem of how to get the water out of the bowl.
First, turn off the water
Flush, and hold the lever down until it has nothing more to drain out of the tank.
But then, you're still stuck with a full bowl of water.
Here's the trick
Fill a bucket with about 1 to 2 gallons of water.
Pour it fairly rapidly into the bowl all at once.
Because of siphon action, and nothing to refill, it will drain 90% of the water out of the bowl, leaving about a cup of water in the bowl.
If you have to have it completely empty, you can use a small hand pump, but in most cases, it's low enough for you to just carry out the way it is.

How deep should a cats bowl be?

The depth of a cat bowl depends on a number of variables, most importantly the number of cats using the bowl. I suggest placing a few bowls in various places around the house. This way you can be sure that each of your cats will have water when they need it. The bowl should be large enough that your cats whiskers do not touch the sides of the bowl.

What types of materials are cat bowls made from?

Most cat bowls are made from one of three materials - plastic, ceramic/glass, or stainless steel. I recommend a ceramic/glass bowl. Many plastic bowls harbor bacteria and stainless steel bowls (although they are best for keeping water cool) are not heavy enough and will be easily tipped over by your cat.

There is not enough water in the bowl, Can I raise the water level in the bowl

no it is predetermined and can not be changed. How ever you may be able to ingrease the water level in the tank by adjusting the float ball.
Just to be sure the ballcock is putting the max amount of water into the bowl mark the level of the water in the bowl with something and pour some water into the bowl and see if it stays at that level.

Macerator keeps going off even when not flushed.

Water pressure makes the unit turn on and off. It will only activate on it's own when enough water pressure is present. Most likely it can be water leaking from the toilet tank into the bowl, and from the bowl into the pump. Or could also be that waste water is slowly draining back into the pump through the check valve on the discharge elbow, creating enough water pressure that it will make the unit kick on and off.
