You must only connect a yellow to a yellow a green to a green and etc. You must have a yellow cable going into a green hole. You need an adaptor. The adaptor goes into input 2. The other side of the adaptor is a yellow red and white male cable that will fit into your device.

No screen and the power and opc light flash on lc-46e77un tv

Final Up date, The TV is fixed, with my problem it was found that the units Mainboard was defective. If you go to replace your Mainboard MAKE SURE THAT YOU PURCHASE THE CORRECT BOARD AND VERSION NUMBER OR IT WILL NOT WORK...... for example KE833 XE833WJ and the most important part, look for the version on the White lable markings, mine was FM11S it will be some FM number that will be used on your Set. Hope this helps you solve your problem.

Sharp Aquos 46" HDMI problem

I have a similar problem. The Sharp TV aquos appears to be shutting down my blue ray player and dvd recorder when connected via HDMI. They work fine and never close down when I connect them via the rca cables either single video connection or a composite 3 cable rca lead. I have 3 HDMI inputs on the tv and the problem occurs on all 3. Any suggestions?

Broken bulb/liquid crystals in sharp aquos tv

The screen is damaged. This is the large LCD screen itself. You can bring the set to the factory service rep for an estimate. You will most likely find that the cost of servicing the set will probably exceed the cost of buying a new set.

Installation question

For any electronic component, use the best connection that is available.

Good = standard composite/rca/yellow, red, white
Better = component cables (red, green, blue, white, red
Best = HDMI (find them cheap at www.monoprice.com)
